Revision vote tomorrow

I have this week off work this week, but have heard tomorrow at my place there is going to be a office vote on the proposed revision.
The problem is nobody knows what's going on, they have put maps up with no street names on and they havent told us what the new hours will be.
I just hope it's a big No vote, don't think it's fair that I don't have a chance to vote as i got a week off but just hope people vote no!

You give out too much identifiable information. If I wanted too I could probably name you from your posted info. I can certainly I.D your office due to events you describe. If R.M wanted to "get" you, they could do so for dicussing R.M info on a public board. Please keep details vague non personal and non identifiable. If this seens paranoid.... it is, and for good reason.

There was not a vote. Just a meeting to explain the changes hosted by management + union together and in agreement.

Yes I heard from a friend there was not a vote today, he said people came out none the better after the meeting. So glad I didn't bother coming into work for it.

To be honest keith...nothing in the revision process should be behind anything.

BUT WHEN THE PLANNERS IGNORE LEGISLATION, STATE THEY ARE UNABLE TO ALTER ANYTHING AND JUST STATING THEY ARE THE AGREED TOOLS MAKE ME GO A DEEP SHADE OF RED.

next week i am hitting them with not only the workplace (health,safety and welfare) regulations 1992, but also i will introduce the safety representatives and safety committees regulations 1977 into the equation

Did the non-union members have a vote on the acceptance of the Business Transformation Agreement?
Why would they have a vote on anything that relates to it?
It should be a union vote.

Well I have to say that for the national union agreement only members would be eligible to vote but on an office vote then everyone would be eligible to vote because in many areas only 50% are members and the office revision couldn't work without them. In addition many of those not in the union are the part timers who are pivotal in getting more Saturdays.

It doesn't say voted in by staff. It says members.

I don't dispute that clash, only that you need everyone on board and in our case considering that part timers would be doing every Saturday and would be at least 50% of that revision they would need to agree whether or not they were union members - the management aren't particular whether they are members only that the revision would work. Pretty much the same as RM as a whole who couldn't give a toss about the Union because they just plough ahead whilst paying lip service.
