We haven't had delivery methods revision yet and dom/dsm are trying to get 180 hours out of office, I was hoping for some guidance today on local revisions as we have managed to stall the changes but they are eager to push this through.

Relax.
If they do push it through it will not be because of a lack of guidance or direction from HQ.
In a couple of years time when we are looking back and debating it...it will be because you were weak...it usually is.
We all have to hold the line...even when we haven't a clue what or where the line is. :cuppa

Of course we all would have liked a decision yesterday but with some progress made last week and a further meeting today on deliveries it was decided to wait till next week.

Interms of waiting for further revision guidance , well I suggest you refer to the guidance Bob Gibson sent out prior to Christmas. This states that the union have not agreed to 100BSI , that a revison should only be agreed on the basis of improving your office BSI by 5 points and a whole host of other recommendations.

Ok deep breath and relax! :arrrghhh

I have read Bobs advice and followed it, i have read it and wrote letters as to it's intructions, it has gone to stage 3s in my area and 100 BSI has been agreed with the option of "back filling"

This is what divisional reps are agreeing to over our heads, i ask you Dingo as i have a copy infront of me to read it again, it says to not agree anymore than 75 BSI inline with what ACAS recommended, yet your mates are fecking us over at stage meetings?

Don't you dare blame me and my members for this mess mate! :no no

I did read the letter from bob but trying to communicate this to our rep or area is a dead loss. They don't even seem to know about this national meeting.
Our REP is being fed by management and area haven't turned up to back him up in what is a major change before the delivery methods revision. BSI has never been mentioned by DIMS just 180 hours reduction in office.

This is not just an ACAS recommendation but an Internationally agreed standard for workers on day rate i.e. Not on piecework or any form of financial incentive other that their basic pay. Of course this does assume that accurate measures are in place (PVs) and that the tools (IWT etc etc) are fit for purpose and being applied in the correct manner.

If they did she must have been terrified by this move.
Next time it'll probably go straight into her spam folder. :cuppa

Yes,but it's a secret :silenced
The report confirmed that progress had been made on BSI (RM work targets) and model week calculations, all of which could eventually have a positive impact on workload issues.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Perhaps they are hoping to bury her in a mound of waste paper.
