TWO postmen were run over by their own van when another vehicle crashed into it.
Emergency services were called to Hunts Pond Road, in Titchfield Common, at 8.45am on Saturday, after a male van driver collapsed at the wheel, causing him to crash into a parked postal vehicle.
Two postmen who had been behind their van were hit.
They were taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham for treatment.
It’s not thought their injuries were serious.
Firefighters cut the driver from his vehicle, before he was taken to hospital with what are believed to be non life-threatening injuries.
Fareham fire station crew manager Paul Cambell said: ‘Two light vans – one was a white van and the other a postal van – were involved.
‘It is suspected the driver of the white van had a medical episode that caused him to collapse at the wheel.
‘Unfortunately the two postmen were at the back of the van and they got run over.
‘There’s quite a high step at the back of the van, so the men didn’t suffer massive injuries.
‘We cut the doors off the white van, so paramedics could assist the driver.’

Something I've been nervous about, standing at the back of the van sorting out my next loop I do feel vulnerable

Could the van driver have a medical condition that he didn't declare ? won't be the first time.

Another added cost of modernisation.
Before park&loop it would only have been one guy behind the van.

And i wonder if only one ERICA report will be completed or two seperate ones
"Today’s workplace has become heartless and soulless. Employees are seen as units of labour, automatons, functionaries, objects for achieving designated tasks, and as costs to be minimised."

There is proof out there that shape changing equines really run the world, allegedly here is the PM heading for a vote in the HoC.
