Hey guys, please can you clear something up for me? I worked 6am till 2pm but quite afew days I worked till 4pm, I was told that even for the 2 hours extra I worked I was still only paid £6.08 hourly, is this still correct?
So,
6am till 4pm = 10 hours x £6.08 = £60.80 - 30mins break =
TOTAL = £57.76

They do not appear to pay "overtime" in the normal sense of the word. You get a premium above basic for Sunday working and night working but I have never received any extra premium for "overtime" unless I went into night time or Sunday.

I think all the casual staff just get the same rate regardless of how many hours they work. TBH it's the same for substantive staff, they get paid the same rate up until 40 hours then it goes up........then it goes down again after the next 10 hours

ok so that is the right amount I have worked out. I understand sunday pay was alittle more at £7.58 hourly.
