the union does care its only 3.33 a week for helping you to do harder duties and helping management out i could hit our assistant rep hes a t022ser

If you honestly believe you can do a better job then replace him. If you honestly believe he is doing his best, support him. If you honestly believe that he needs help then try and form a Unit Committee. If he really is a tosser (and there are very few real ones) then get someone else to replace him if you don't think you have the skills (I don't think I have that's why I support mine).
