That really annoys me, it comes up no matter what you're doing at the time, even mid signature it pops up!
***Battery level is at critical please consider recharging***

If you haven't got the walk number with you, then I just do 111111111111111111111111 and it works. Saves having to phone up your office for the number.

we had that problem but got those big plastic keyrings that your meant to put photos in - we got the barcodes copied and one side is our delivery barcode and the other is the collection barcode -- these keyrings are attached to our collection keys - problem solved

We (well, I) photocopied the barcodes for the walks and sellotaped them to the front of the log books for the vans.
Does this rag smell of chloroform to you?

This is so so annoying :evil/mad What moron decided this was a good idea? The PDA essentially becomes unusable when battery is <25% because the low battery warning comes up so much :evil/mad

I issue the PDAs from our locker and the older they are the less reliable they become, as they pick them up 10/15 minutes before they leave they'll say - "the batterys knacked on this" and I am expected to do what? produce a new battery from thin air - if the system worked as it should, the failure should be reported on return to the office which SHOULD be reported to the IT Department who SHOULD order a replacement for the next working day - however there are so many offices not returning them there is at least a weeks delay.......and there's the rub - these things are outside our control and we are subject to the vagaries of a third party. The answer is that a card should be issued in the event of failure and we revert back to the old system.
