Had just 1 mech tray and a bundle. A small stack of flats but hardly any letter from the ips and just half a packet bag.
Out by 8.20am and finished at 12.10 with a 30 min break  .

I got to go home the same time as the selfdrive flyers :nana
Same here, except I was out for 7.30 and back for 13.30. So I used the spare time to do some extra D2Ds because I know there is going to be an avalanche of mail at some stage this week.

Yep i was the same as i threw in ALL the remaining D2D's and took where i was going. Its wierd how light its been. :hmmmm

Absolutely brilliant.

It was good whilst it lasted.

Not quite as much mech mail as you (only 3 but all on the second lorry) but the packets and recordeds were unbelievable

Lots of recordeds - everyone says they have more than normal at present. not so many flats today which made it seem quite light but still visited most houses . I bet we'll get a really really heavy day to make up for it soon :pray

Back at the time I'd predicted. Average day with not much to knock for. Mild day with a light drizzle late morning.

Not a bad Wednesday, I suppose. I'm on a decent rota job, meaning that every day tends to be manageable. I drag them out and make them last to about time. Not that there's much point any more. Apparently some of the new walks have been put together and a few of the lads are having a look at them early next week. I expect their minds will be thoroughly boggled.

Got in and it looked really heavy with lots of thick catalogues and packets, but everything was boxed in, so I was out early, though still thought it was going to be a late one. Happily I was wrong, finished on time :Very Happy. Its amazing how much more easier this job is when the prep work is done when you arrive. I just wish it was like this everyday.

How times have changed (for most of us anyway) when we celebrate finishing on time :nervous
