I just spoke to one of the message takers on the payroll query line and am told that Angard's head office is in Andover, Hampshire - specifically 27a High Street, Andover, Hampshire.

I find this sooo frustrating as my family is from Andover and I could have actually gone in there and talked to someone about this at Christmas but hey ho, it's better to get the information late than never, right? What I find more frustrating and perhaps even more sinister is that I just did a little google search on 27a High Street, Andover, Hampshire and one of the top results was for a commercial lettings agent. Surely this is just an out of date listing and Angard have since moved in (after Reed stopped trading from there)? Unfortunately not. A quick phone call to the lettings agent confirms that the property is still available so just where the hell is Angard's head office??

This organisation are literally like none I've ever dealt with before. Their ineptidude knows no bounds and actually, with this new lie that they've told us, makes me think all the more that they're not inept but are in fact highly accomplished con men...

When I started working for Angard the Hampshire address was where I was told to send my P45 to. No wonder the blasted thing has disappeared!

It is still the REED office - they manage it for Angard/Royal Mail. It is one of about 3 payroll offices I am aware of - Andover, Poole and London. I used to telephone the REED number at that address in Andover and ask to speak to Angard payroll - this number is now unobtainable when called. The Angard payroll manager is at REED Managed Serivces offices in Raynes Park in London - see the back of your envelope when/if you get your payslip.

There was a telephone number for the REED office in Andover, which I used to contact Angard payroll directly, which became unobtainable - not checked to see if it is still. The Poole office just never got answered once we got into December. REED Poole also locked its doors in December and you could only get in "by Appointment'". The Northampton address seems to be the call center to call us in to work and recruitment. The website angardstaffing.co.uk gives Northampton as the contact place when applying for work. A data input centre is at a REED office in Coventry - they called when they lost my bank account details. Where the head office is, to be honest, I am unsure but suspect it will be the REED Managed Services office in Raynes Park London. The others are REED Global offices or REED Specialist Recruitment offices being used by REED to house what seems to be REED personnel that manage Angard.

Well im teaching in andover on tuesday so Im going to pop into angards offices there and see what i find - like a big sign saying REED over the door for example. Will let you all know what I do or dont find out

Yes & they probably have minders on the door too. CCTV on the front door, a panic button, so when some unpaid Ex Casual arrives, down go the shutters & the riot police arrive.

Before December I telephoned the Poole Angard payroll via the REED office and talked, I think, to Stephanie directly to ensure my payroll details were correct - they needed to input them again even though Coventry and Andover had done it. Took 3 different offices/people to ensure my bank details were on the payroll system.

Ok so as I said I visited the above adress today - hmmm there was massive signs saying REED all over - and guess what not only will they NOT let you through the door but they also said they have NO angard staff there a all, and certainly not payroll. Hmmm just more ammunition for the et1 and court claims coming up.

They dont have Angard staff there. They are all REED employees that manage Angard so if you asked for Angard staff they can say they dont have them. If you ask for the staff that look after aspects of Angard payroll you may have had a different response. I believe the person I used to talk to in Andover when I called the now unobtainable REED telephone number was a chap named Joe.
