How do you obtain the travel money when going to another mail centre. We are transferring on monday and nothing has been mentioned about payment. Union rep not interested.

How do you obtain the travel money when going to another mail centre. We are transferring on monday and nothing has been mentioned about payment. Union rep not interested.

I was sent a letter,my pay number changed as i came from Watford(Anglia area to Thames Valley area),the letter also had a travel form in it,they asked for milage from my home address to old mail centre and milage from home address to new mail centre.The figures you gave are then checked and payment is made about 3-4 weeks later,i only got the £150 payment as i live nearer the new office than i did the old office so was not intitled to milage payment.

If you are on lates you'll find parking a pain,although extra parking is aviable just down the road at campus 100 & campus 600,its a 5 minute walk,but you will need a permit which i think are in the book room or see a union rep,which is where i got my from.

We were told how much money we was due to receive they had it all on computers worked out already. Getting it may be another matter

with our relocation we have found that it is pot luck who recieves their paiyments and when...forms being misplaced etc..but one day you will recieve your money!
