My saturday was great, I had my earliest finish since being left on my own excluding Christmas eve.

I had a recorded for a person who was Jewish. He couldn't sign for it. What do you lot do? I signed it for him, but was wondering if this is what everyone would do

I've signed for a blind person before.
I was reliably informed however, the correct procedure is to leave a 739 so their carer or whoever can pick it up for them.
The word "jobsworth" springs to mind.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

In this case as Saturday is their Shabbat (sabbath) and the most devout followers of the Jewish Faith are not allowed to do anything that is considered work or creative. Writing (signing for something) would come under that.

If he is a devout believer then next time you see him suggest he use the "Saturday Retention" scheme - its free and will allow him to practice his faith without causing you any problems. :hmmmm

Still isin't acceptable just to use religion as an excuse, I can guarantee that if they wanted to do something then they would, no matter if it was Saturday or not.

We got it today - loads of holiday catalogues, Virgin Media (whats the point we got D2Ds for them as well), and Unite Members Magazine. Not many packets but harldy anyone answered the door - too cold for them :hmmmm

Had one of the best days for ages. Little flats and almost zero packets. Got around in 3hr 40min :dance

Prob the lightest day ive had on this round since i started a year ago. This is the second day in a row and iam getting a little worried now. :sad:

Had just 1 mech tray and a bundle. A small stack of flats but hardly any letter from the ips and just half a packet bag.
Out by 8.20am and finished at 12.10 with a 30 min break :shock: .

I got to go home the same time as the selfdrive flyers :nana

Same here, except I was out for 7.30 and back for 13.30. So I used the spare time to do some extra D2Ds because I know there is going to be an avalanche of mail at some stage this week.
