Is this right?

Post by madelin4 »

Is it right that the same old usual faces always get picked on by management.. i.e. moved duties when they have only just came in the door that morning when they have all there door to door prep in the duty they thought they where on? also being moved in general... seems that they dont go to every1 that cud be moved just to the more easygoing staff... is this the same across the board folks? Some people wud go home sick with the thought of that. :mad :mad :mad

simply YES. As in they always go for what they see as an easy mark. My best advice, and it was hard to do as I like to please everyone, is to say No at some point and then keep saying no until they stop taking you for granted.

As my lineo said today "The Dom does not care about anything except getting the mail out of the door, without him having to deliver it."

Always argue with them and I like to make it in front of all the other posties, !! Not been in the job long but always make a stand, when are DOM says come into the office and shut the door, I simply say no coz what I have got 2 say wont take long and I'd like to have a few witnesses ! If they see a weakness they will play on it, stand strong, stand firm I'd rather have the respect of my fellow workers than have a guy slurping his coffee thinking he's got an eay target. !!

Always build yourself up for the fight, there are going to be big fights to come, take a stand, don your gloves, we may be losing the battle but we will win the war, make life as difficult as you can for them, remember its the management who are taking the orders and are agreeing to them, we wont be pressurised by them and we will not take it lying down. Always say your piece, they cant put you under there thumb, we shall not be treated like slaves, we are people, fighting for the people and we will come out at the end of it with the "people" behind us. The small minority are trying to break us, stand firm and strong !!!
