He'll do it once too often then amazon will start sending everything tracked. Same with paypal, they will also notice how many items not received he's claiming for. Is it any wonder claims are up with numpties like this on the go :no no

Eventually they will make 1 claim too many and then the Security Branch will investigate and spot the fraud and they will appear in court. Its happened before http://www.royalmailchat.co.uk/communit ... ud#p252658" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I hope Amazon have wisened up a bit as a few years back they sent me a HD Camcorder (just after they were available) costing the wrong side of £500 and didn't even send it tracked or signed for. I was out at the time and my regular postman just put in behind the wheelie bin and 739'd me. Wasn't an issue but for a less honest citizen than my good self could have been easy money as a one off.

Are you still allowed to hide tracked items from certain posters like BT ??

Yes if the PDA or parcel indicates a secure location - and - this is the clincher - you believe that the chosen location is secure.

Done the same with me Budfrog with a camera for my OH's xmas. Bog standard parcel. I was working in the locker at the time too and was keeping my eyes open for an SD. Worse bit was the postie gave it to my neighbour. But he couldn't remember which one lol. Got home to find the card had Mrs Dempster on it... Well I do have a foreign name, but he got the first 2 letters and the last 2 letters of the name right :funneh Needless to say I was terrified of losing this camera, luckily someone I had never seen before brought it up that evening.
