Diary of a New Starter

Post by FlashMagic7 »

Hi everyone,

I'm a recent starter and have decided to keep a blog documenting the secret adventures of a postman. I was struggling for ideas on how to publicise it and figured that a Royal Mail forum would be a good place to start! :Very Happy

Please 'like' my facebook page, check out the blog, read it, follow it, comment on it (constructive/anecdotal only please!) and spread the word to your colleagues and friends! Parts will be written in layman's terms to ensure the blog is accessible to civilians but I'm sure many of the posts I intend to make about topics such as overtime, driving, dogs, weather and Christmas will ring true with a lot of people.

Please, please click the link below and away you go!

Regards,

The Part-Time Postman

Just remember that if you put information in the public domain that "they" don't like, they can and will sack you.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Thanks for the reminder, I don't plan on slagging anyone off or anything like that, trying to keep it light hearted and (hopefully) humorous, writing about things that happen to me out on deliveries!

Welcome,and good luck.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
