So I finished at the Leeds Mail Centre on the 21st- a few extra shifts were offered but there were at times I couldn't really get to there on via the buses. Apparently Angard will "call me if they have any more work." So far I've heard nothing (what a surprise), and I rang them to try to find more info. The guy I managed to talk to knew nothing (shocking! ) and said he'd "send an email to query it."
So basically, I want/need to sign on for JSA again while I'm back jobhunting. Does anyone know if I need to officially "quit" Angard first? -the contract says I'm still employed until 28 days after my last engagement, so that's another two weeks.

When I worked as a Casual I still signed on - unless the rules have changed since then all you need to do is inform the advisor what days you worked and how much you have been paid and they work out your entitlement from them. I only ever signed off once I got a permanent position.

It used to be you had to to sign off when you worked over 16 hrs per week, otherwise you filled in a form saying how much you had earned that week, when you signed on . This may be out of date info.
Ignore the contract thing,just go to your job centre and go through the motions.You're not working end of,contract or not.
