If the weather continues the way it is this...

If not, comfortable and warm stuff, jeans trackies ect, although you will warm up on delivery.
Also very very comfortable footwear with good grip.(The streets of Gold can be quite slippery this time of year) :nervous

Good luck.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Hi Eyeonme, how did it all go for you?

Have a read about the fun and games I had when I started in my blog, you never know, some of it may sound familiar!

Well I started at 5am, it was crazy I sat down for around 10min waiting to be shown around and be given a job. I was then told to sort out some mail while they found me a postman to shadow. Within 30min I found myself in the sorting room alone  I think they forgot about me :d'oh! I just stayed there sorting out mail for Monday until it was time to go home.

I'm sorry to hear that, have things improved since? Were you expecting to be out on deliveries/are you now? When I first started I had two days with a mentor but after that he went on annual leave for 2 weeks and I was given his round to deal with. Fair to say I still had quite a few questions and queries at this point!
