Royal Mail Careers Application Process

Workers may be eligible to a bonus at the end of the assignment: the bonus is dependent upon attendance throughout the Christmas employment.

This came directly from the application process and people can still look at this by logging into manage applications on the mail website for casuals.

To me personally that sounds like we should all be due a bonus. I'm not saying that Angard will give anybody a bonus because they're hopeless, but according to the job I applied for months ago I was under the impression that a bonus would be available, but again Angard can't even pay the staff ontime so I wouldn't hold my breathe. I just don't know how you know we're not getting a bonus. What have you heard? The Angard contact numbers are all agency staff as well, who might as well be in the Indian Call Centres because they know nothing.

Please note that the word "MAY" is used, this is just another Angard tactic. I have been in the working environment, for many years & have been "promised" a bonus in many seasonal jobs. But there is always a "get out clause". It's just another load of bull***t! The staff never receive it.

Also its not as though the parent company has a Stirling record in this department. A lot of permanent employees have colleagueshare certificates which were at the start meant to pay out over £1k in the last couple of years - they were valued as essentially worthless about a year ago and we won't get anything.
