Re: 1p paid into account!
To those who ever has been paid 1p, you lucky people well least you've got something me on the other hand hasn't got nothing from Royal Mail or Angard not a dime.
Today I've tried ringing them with no joy.
And you know what's the funny thing in all this Angard texted me yesterday saying that their was jobs at my local post office and I thought are they having a laugh.

Re: 1p paid into account!
I didn't take any holiday hours but I got paid £41 today which is the missing pay from my 3rd week total, so I've been paid in full for the 5 weeks without too many issues.

Re: 1p paid into account!
I was informed last evening that this weeks payday would be 1 penny. Despite the fact that I worked Boxing day Bank Holiday and followed on with 3 nights. I also received an acknowledgement that my holiday pay would be paid today. ET1 will remain with the employment tribunal and I am now considering consulting and engaging an employment lawyer at the tribunal.
I am quoting
Withholding of pay without consent
Failure to provide pay statements
Failure to rectify pay/hours/rates when it has been incorrectly counted.
Failure to discuss any issues, numerous phone calls which went unanswered or phone simply slammed down when answered.
14 emails (with track) which remain unopened on the angard payroll email address.
Potential loss of data (bank details) which I believe has occured on a grand scale at Angard. Complaint being submitted to the Information Commissioner as a breach of the Data Protection Act.
The only conversation I have had was with a woman who refused to give her name who blamed the problem on timesheets not being correctly handled by RM Management. I am getting copies of these along with proof of when they were faxed/emailed to Angard Payroll, to be presented at the tribunal.
If (and its a big if) they send me a statement for 1penny pay, I am going to copy and email it to the press who have shown interest in the Angard fiasco.

Re: 1p paid into account!
Yep i got paid 1p for the second time.
I finally got a reply to one of many emails to Angard and was told it should all be sorted out by the 12th Jan 2011, i ain't going to get my hope up yet, not after being paid 1p for the second time.
Also got a message saying to work on the 12th but im not going in only because my pay hasn't been sorted otherwise i would consider working as im low on cash but then again if Royal Mail paid me on time i wouldn't short and so wouldn't many other people.
Only time will, will have to see what happens on the 12th or thereabouts

Re: 1p paid into account!
According to this RM statement (below) those who have been paid 1p are in line for having monies recouped from them. I'd be thinking about contacting my bank with a view to seeing if a blocking of angard can be made. I don't know if its possible to action a reverse payment/withdrawal without the account holders specific say so. But I wouldn't be trusting luck given the record of what has gone on. Anyone know of action people can take to ensure angard don't go taking what they never put there in the first place?
Royal Mail spokesperson Valerie Antoine said: "This is not the experience
of the large majority of the almost 20,000 temporary people whom have
worked for Royal Mail over the Christmas period. It is absolutely not the
case that there is 'widespread' difficulties over pay. The overwhelming
majority of our temporary Christmas workers have been paid on time.
We sincerely apologise to Ms Estrada-Hart and Mr Curtis. We will resolve
these individual cases as quickly as possible.
"Royal Mail is very grateful to our temporary Christmas workers. They have
played an important role in delivering the nation's festive mailbag.
"We are aware that some people are unhappy about receiving a payment of 1p.
In the vast majority of cases, this is because we have previously paid more
than was due to that particular person and we are now seeking to recoup the
amount owed to Royal Mail. We explained that this would be happening when
we made the pay advances. To recoup the amount owed, we need to complete a
pay run and that requires a nominal payment in order to complete a
transaction. We are sorry for any upset this has caused."

Re: 1p paid into account!
According to this they will contact us after the 11th of jan because know one has received the call back and i highly doubt they are going to respond to so many people in just 2 days which are monday and tuesday. They have screwed every possible aspect of payroll, incorrect timesheet or hours, wrong banks detail after giving it to them on numerous occasions finally wrong tax which they now know but are failing to implementing it in to my pay. I think the payroll dept are anything but a payroll dept, maybe all the staff are working for wrong dept. Anyway the 11th jan, seems like judjement day because if they dont resolve it by then, most will file et1s and that will be fun.joker1 wrote:i am the mr curtis in that statement and had an email today surprise surprise from angard which i sent more than 2 weeks ago funny how the bbc asking direct questions gets some actions from them
