Just wondered if the regional manager did contact your husband regarding this. Have you spoken to Angard to see if he has been dismissed or just had his contract ended? You wouldn't get anywhere with a formal Unfair Dismissal claim but if he is recorded as being dismissed then he won't be eligible for future employment with RM (or Angard) and if he needs a reference in future then it could be a pain.
If he is recorded as dismissed I'd definitely fight against it and go down the bullying and harassment route to get it changed to contract ended.
