I am still personally owed 13 days pay as a Christmas casual i.e. 13x7.5hrs=97.5hrs but have actually worked 11 weekdays and two Sundays!
Hence according to the advertised RM website this amounts to:
11x7.5x£6.35=£523.88 (2dp) plus 2x7.5x£8.45=£126.76 Hence ANGARD owe me £523.88+£126.76=£650.64 GROSS PAY STILL OWED!!
Now some 15,000 casuals have been employed over November-December 2011 and MOST HAVE BEEN UNDERPAID or not paid at all!
This is totally unacceptable and inexcusable of ANGARD NOT TO HAVE A FULLY FUNCTIONAL, OPERATIONAL PAYROLL SYSTEM. After all this suspect organisation was set up in January 2011! Many employees have not even received any payslips! Helplines are also constantly engaged with no dedicated payroll number!
...and still the directors receive their bonuses based on the work performance of Christmas casuals.
I wonder what would happen if RM's directors' salaries and bonuses were not paid????????????????????????????????????
Angard must be punished for acting in such a morally corrupt, inept and unacceptable manner. They have breached virtually every statement in their own contract and have abused completely the commitment, dedication and trust of all its employees. The denial by RM management and its empty apologies are useless without compensatory action and stiff fines from the regulator as lessons must be learned!

You need to file an ET1 if you want to get your wages quickly, not sure what you mean by "the regulator" ?

What's this nonsense of having to file "an ET1"?? All I want is a direct credit transfer of my wages plus a payslip to show the correct tax and NI deductions. IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK?hantsman wrote:intelligentsia wrote:I am still personally owed 13 days pay as a Christmas casual i.e. 13x7.5hrs=97.5hrs but have actually worked 11 weekdays and two Sundays!

Re: Why are Angard Staffing Solutions so utterly incompetent
I'm owed £1108.94 gross pay. Minus the £350 voucher, that's the only form of payment I have received as they have the wrong bank account details on the payslips.
Submitted an ET1 yesterday.

Re: Why are Angard Staffing Solutions so utterly incompetent
To answer your question as to why they're so incompetent..................because they are RM, same directors, same managers, same staff.............the only reason that the rest of RM creaks along so well is the goodwill/experience/ability of the staff on the ground.

If they paid the money into someone's bank account - I wouldnt be surprised if they dont ask you to get it off the person that they paid it to.Jamesbcd wrote:I'm owed £1108.94 gross pay. The trouble is that the United Kingdom has no provision for Class Action Lawsuits where we could all club together to take them to court. If we had them like in the U.S., it would make national news and the Royal Mail would be scandalised. But in Royal Britain it is Divide And Rule.

Re: Why are Angard Staffing Solutions so utterly incompetent
I emailed the holiday team yesterday about claiming holiday pay and also asked them to forward my email on to payroll to sort my overtime/incorrect bank details out. I received a phone call from payroll earlier this morning, the lady took all my overtime hours down, bank details etc and said all amounts owed including holiday pay should be with me this Friday. The first time I've actually had a conversation with an Angard representative, she was really nice and helpful.Verging wrote:If they paid the money into someone's bank account - I wouldnt be surprised if they dont ask you to get it off the person that they paid it to.Jamesbcd wrote:I'm owed £1108.94 gross pay. Coincidently ran into my royal mail manager that I worked with this evening, told him I still hadn't been paid but should be this Friday, he gave me his number and said if you don't get paid on Friday, to give him a call and he'll sort it out.
A good days work? We'll see on Friday..

I am pleased for you but you'll have to go online and keep checking your bank/building society account this FRIDAY!Jamesbcd wrote:I emailed the holiday team yesterday about claiming holiday pay and also asked them to forward my email on to payroll to sort my overtime/incorrect bank details out. By the way, holiday pay is calculated according to hours worked to date and a specific multiplier is used.
On your payslip should you actually receive it!, the holiday hours accrued SHOULD BE SHOWN, so why the extra admin/paperwork of having to claim it?????????????? Where does it give this on the ANGARD job contract as a pdf doc emailed to us sometime back?
