J ust recieved my payslip

Ok so stick with me guys. I have been working since 5th december, a total of 116 hours. To date i recieved the 350 voucher and a payment of 212 pounds last week. On friday i was payed 1p which surely cant be right. My payslip comes this morning and payment is 263 pounds. But i get deducted 50 tax and 14 ni. Then i have a net deduction of 195 making a total deduction of 263 leaving me with a net pay of 1p. I cant understand surely i am owed more than 1p

Yes! I just got my payslip & here we go again! Should have been a full week + 2hrs o/t, not to forget the money they still owe me! £54.63 !!! I thought that we had finished this nightmare. Wrong, they now owe me more money than they did before. They have not paid me for 1 day, but did manage to pay the o/t, but after tax & NI, the docked me another £94.46! Doing a quick mental calculation, this is the insult of a CHAPS transfer + an additional payment they made last week. So they have now docked me these 2 payments! They never paid me what they owed me before, so now, they actually owe me more than they did before I kicked off a couple of weeks ago! Will this nightmare end? Inspite of all the bad publicity they have attracted, they still haven't learnt from their mistakes!

I just got mine too and after a lot of maths on my part I worked out my net deduction should be around £123 (the difference from getting the £350 voucher originally for the first payment) But they've taken over £175 to bring me down to 1p as well. If they can work out the tax and NI contributions why can't they work out the correct difference and deductions? It seems to me they've reduced everyone to 1p so they 'pay' us on time and then they might bother working out exactly how much we're owed if we're lucky :s

Exactly the same problem here mate. Got the £350 post office payment originally, hot a payslip the following week with heavy tax, assumingly for the £350 we received, then this week, which will be my final payment, after deductions I've received a whole f**king penny. It reads as follows:

Payments:
23-12-11 37.50 hrs@ 6.08 228.00

Deductions:
Income Tax 38.80
National Insurance 10.68
Net Deduction 178.51

Total Payments: 228.00
Total Deductions 227.99
Net Pay: 0.01

Im starting to wonder whether these people are having us on, or whether they were deprived of oxygen at birth. This has gone far enough, I just want my final payment so I can never have to deal with this sorry excuse for a Recruitment Agency again.

Update: Called Angard on 08454607318 - The woman on the other end of the phone took my details, I explained my situation to her. She submitted it all to the "Payroll Department" (I imagine they're a very capable bunch) and I should hear from then ASAP. Anyone else had any progress?

got my payslip today amazingly reads as follows
32.50hrs @ 6.08 = 197.60 so that bits fine
income tax 39.40
ni 7.03
net deduction 136.81 whatever that is

total deductions £183.24

leaving me with a mere £14.36

has to be some kind of a joke i recon i never had this £350 voucher i was paid remotely normally by comparisson to alot of people and i dont think overpaid no holiday pay although it says 14.88 hrs accured

It does seem that those who didn't receive the £350 are losing out here, as everyone seems to be getting treated the same.
I've done 4 full weeks and been paid a total of £290.

Seems to be obscurantism. I worked for another employer where the hours varied. They did the perfectly sensible thing of quoting to and from dates, and total hours worked x the rate. Obviously this would be far too sensible for Angard.

Or they 1p transations could be ghost ones to test then they put 100 in so you can't say you never received it!

Me too. Unfathomable deductions. AND ... I WANT MY WORKING TAX CRED!!! But that needs an "Employer's PAYE reference -this will be on your payslip". Oh aye is it?! Happy Easter readers - we might have our right dosh by then

i recieved a payslip today and went to someone senior where i work. they told me that due to the problems when you wasnot paid at all, and when you was issued with the voucher to compensate, that voucher contained no deductions. deductions would take place on dec 23 or 30th payslip. the deductions took place on the 30th payslip and that is why you are paid 1p

happy new year to everyone by the way. i certainly willnot forget this year in a hurry

£350.00 voucher from Royal mail, by my calculations the amount from this £350.00 minus Tax (£41.25) and NI (£25.32) equals £283.43. So the deductions they should be taking total £66.57 not a random amount leaving you with just a penny! Im pretty good at maths it takes a few minutes to work out. The amounts are based on Emergency/BR tax because god forbid if anyone has got the right tax code sorted by them.

Why are you minusing tax and ni from the £350?

My maths is terrible but aren't they supposed to pay you as normal, total payments minus tax and ni, then minus the full £350? but in most cases, people aren't actually earning enough in 1 weeks payslip to minus the full £350 amount, so they just take the maximum which leaves you with 1p, then they just chase you up for the rest on your next payslip or debt collection or whatever. Someone correct me if I'm wrong!
