ET1 angard address?

hi people just trying to fill out the reams of forms for et1 form but its got space for angards address where has everybody else that has filled one of these forms out put for that?cheers j

As Angard is spread around the country in various REED offices I guess the problem is where to send them. I would guess most people have been putting the Northampton address.

Personally, I would be putting in the company registered office address (the same as Royal Mail Groups registered address) as follows:

Also, do you take the ET1 against Angard or Royal Mail Group (as the parent company) or both?

Royal Mail Ltd and Royal Mail Group Ltd have various responsibility within employment law to ensure Angard act legally towards its employees - they have failed in this respect along with Angard in a number of ways (not just pay). So who do you actually sue or take ET1 against. I guess as the employer you need to do ET1 against Angard. Other breaches of law probably could be done against all of them.

ive put the angard staffing solution address in northampton as thats where look east tried contacting for 1 hr 9 mins with no responce.i put on the form angard/royal mail and also ticked the box do i know if its not a isolated incident so ticked yes.dont know if it will be accepted but judging by angards lack of respect for its employees over xmas i doubt they will be able to handle the number of et's that are going to end up on their desks more than steven speilberg could shake a stick at hopefully

Could the original poster give more details of what he is trying to do, and what advantage the employment tribunal has over the small claims track of the county court. I have unequivocal evidence of the hours and days I worked and the small claims track has the disincentive to Angard of costs if they should not respond within the notice period.

An ET1 for withholding pay will cost you nothing to instigate, and will be held in your local Employment Court. Angard have to respond to requests for information from the court and will be required to attend the hearing if they are to have any chance of "winning".

While I have no doubt your maths are good, and you have a track on the hours worked, and the rate, and ultimately the gross weekly amounts owing to you, without actually receiving accurate statements for the earnings/Tax/NI you have little clue as to what actually is owed to you. It is a requirement in law for an employer to give you a statement detailing your pay, tax and NI contributions. If your case is anything like mine, I have so far worked 22 shifts, and only received statements detailing 4 shifts, my pay (thanks to a voucher) is about £250 light, but I cannot get an exact figure owing to Angard's failure to provide me with a statement of pay. I received nothing yesterday, and nothing last week.

For a small claims court you need to have a figure with which to pursue the person who owes you money, and they will not concern themselves in Angard's failure to pay on time, failure to stick to their own contractual terms, and ultimately to fully recompense you for work carried out. A small claims court demands a fee to start the action, although this can be added to any amount that the court decides is to be paid by Angard (costs). An Employment Tribunal will require Angard to answer for these legally binding failures.

I have objective records of the signing sheets which testify to my hours worked, as well as the support of permanent colleagues. Pay and tax rates are not arbitrary. Winning the case is beyond doubt, the question is of timescale and the pressure that needs to be applied. I am not especially interested in becoming part of a six month queue backlog from an employer tribunal. But if Angard refuse requests to supply records and pay then they become liable for extra costs.

I lodged my ET1 by email on the evening of the 19th December, and had a written letter reply detailing the hearing would take place on 10th February on the 23rd, along with contact from ACAS on the 24th. IIRC the small claims court can take up to 2 months, and in my personal experience with Small Claims court action the venue can move from your local court to one nearer to Angard/RM, (at their insistence) along with the delays that this entails.

This is rubbish, an employer has 28 days to respond to an ET1, they have an ET3 form to respond with.

With xmas and the new year there is no way you have a date for the ET hearing

It will be a 6 months at least, maybe somebody who has actually put a ET claim in can confirm the time its taking.

Just where you are wrong, I have already received the hearing date, and contact from ACAS. You appear to be woefully misinformed about the process of the Employment Tribunal system, and as for your comments in other threads, you also appear to be something of a Troll.

There are a number of respondents on these threads who have submitted their claims and have already received dates. Mine is in February, others are as far ahead as April. I guess it all depends on the location of the court. I suggest you take your Barrack Room Lawbook and go and troll on other sites.

In 2 of your posts you have said you filed the ET1 on the 19th DEC then in another you have said you filed it on the 23rd Dec I wish for people on here to have the corrects facts Bob.

So what solictor is representing Angard/RM? Have they denied your claim and on what grounds are they doing so? Whats the case number?

i LODGED the ET1 on the 19th December, I received the hearing date by letter on the 23rd December.
On the 24th December I received the letter from ACAS appointing a conciliation representative.

i had an email confirming receipt of the et1 which they said will take up to 10 days to confirm wether its a viable case i have had some wage slips but not all of them and the last one was a joke.i mainly also dont think they are going to cough up holiday accured or get it right so that was another box to tick on et1 also compensation ive only asked for a small £100 on top of what im owed due to avoidable stress over xmas.at least that sounds a reasonable amount i will see what happens
