No they're not.shepherdess wrote:d2d are planned over 6 days 1/6 a day you do not have to do more than this get your rep to go in and see the manager
The time allocated in the IWT is planned over 6 days.
The actual delivery of D2D is planned over the duration of the contract.
That's why contingency arrangements should be in place and agreed at the Weekly Resource Meeting beforehand.
If they are due to be delivered by saturday then that's what you do.
If it costs the office more in resources so be it.
This isn't play school and you don't get to choose what work you do...the only thing we get to choose is whether we go home on time or work over.

The Scottish people are not one race.
We are the bastard children of a hundred races...and very proud of it.

Re: D2Ds next week
Could someone please clarify to me what a local agreement is? Does local apply to a particular DO or an area and is the agreement made with a democratic office vote or an agreement between local rep and dom

Re: D2Ds next week
A local agreement applies to the particular office and is agreed by DOM/Rep, endorsed by staff at office. Ordinarily, a local agreement still needs the endorsement at Area level to ensure that it falls within the bounds of existing Area and National Agreements. This is why local agreements are often out of sync with national agreements as they are not updated following any changes at national level.

Thanks Ahebban,so i take it if the staff dont have a scooby doo about any rep/dom agreements then any such agreements should be deemed null and void.

WTF bring on 6/7 or 8, you are either mad or a glutton for punishment, if i had my way i would abolish all D2Ds as they are shite and the customers dont want them eithercelerycelery wrote:Never understand people's problems with door 2 doors these days. Bring on 6 or 7 or 8 lots, I dont give a damm. They are now part of your work load so you get extra time to chuck them in, and if doing 6 lots over 5/6 days takes your over your time every day then inform manager and it's there problem.

And let's face it if we got rid of everything we thought was shite and the customers didn't want there wouldn't be much left to deliver.Pat Ostman wrote:Sadly they are now required to keep jobs.malcolm3011 wrote:

Re: D2Ds next week
We been pretty lucky recently, no D2Ds for the week leading up to Xmas and none for this last week. I think there is just 1 for a few rounds next week but we start lapsing again so not really much of a bonus haha.
