If you even suspect that yr rep - is not doing his job - 'phone Wimbledon & complain! I am getting nowt from my area rep or chairman & shall have a scream up - tomorrow. I'm fed up with hearing that 'area' have no news - a morale call to unit reps - would still be something!!!

Understand wot yr saying - but later starts are being talked about for next Monday. Gotta have zero tolerance - & check everything that they do. If R.M. get a foot in the door - they will start walking upright & take the hiss with everything. It is time to fight everything that they say.

From the top of my head,

6:15 - 6:30 prep
6:30 - 8:30 IPS
8:30 - 10:00 prep
10:00 - 10:40 meal relief
10:40 - commence delivery

I didn't read any further than that, I was too gob-smacked by 10:40am, commence delivery :)

our DUM stood in front of us all today and admitted he probably knows less about what's gonna happen next than we do . . . . . he's obviously just awaiting instruction from above . . . . . . you know what, I think he may actually have told the truth for the first time ever . . . hallelujah brother :dance

Where can I find the law regarding the changing of your start times ?
I think the 90 day rule is over reduction of hours after disagreement on 28 day proposal.

Stockport Delivery offices - told on 12th September.
Later start times too commence on the 8th October.

I can't get into my head, why the Labour Party, that,
we the workers, pay them. DON'T GIVE TWO sh***s
ABOUT US!
So it is time too stand together, through thick and thin.
And show this shower of sh***s. WHO put them into power.

If we ALL stick together, WE CAN WIN THIS WAR!
WE HAVE TOO!

1 hour daily strikes ?

Post by deadbox »

We need the CWU to call 1 or 2 hour strikes on a DAILY basis, timed at the END of your duty

That way we could all strike , only lose say 5 hours pay a week, bugger up the RM with a backlog of mail , and STILL FINISH AT A REASONABLE TIME !

We could keep doing this sort of action for years if need be

RM could start us later.....but we would be finishing when WE want to !

sounded silly when I first read this but the more I think about it the more I like it . . . . . . for delivery offices anyway . . . . we would need absolute support with working to the 318 though and with the odd day out scattered here and there this would have a huge effect :Very Happy
