Hate to say this!

Post by stephen500 »

I hate to say this, but it must be said. Much as i am for democracy the union has to ensure a strike takes place before the 28 day deadline. The last thing we need right now is a re-ballot. There are a lot of weak people out there who whatever RM offered would take it. Lots of them couldn't care less about any one else. So make sure the ballot remains live and keep up the pressure. It may even pay to keep up the pressure till Christmas....Christmas pressure being the unions ace card.

Strike dates have been set already, they're seeing how the latest round of talks go,then they will be announced 7 days before the strike date if talks break down again.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Strike dates have been set?

Where does this info come from?

Announce them now, carry out strike action whilst talks continue.

I am rapidly losing confidence in the CWU leadership
