Re: Payment
Hey guys I like other people are still waiting for my pay after the PR stunt just before Christmas (remember when we thought Royal Mail actually gave a damn) so I have contacted The Express and Star.
For some reason they thought it had all been resolved?? I obviously told them it was not!! and they would like you to send your comments/complaints and queries to b.sharpe@expressandstar.co.uk Becky is the Chief News Editor and wants to hear from you all.
Cheers

Re: Payment
I'm one of the lucky ones who did get paid, but on emergency tax [HOW long have they had my P45??!]. So I'm on a merrie yuletide £120 for a 5 day week. Also, entitled to Working Tax Credit [for me about £30 a week] but can't get that without a pay number which comes on my invisible payslips. Can't get Housing Benefit to help with my £95/wk rent without said payslips. Yes it'll be v.nice when all this backdated stuff arrives in the bank
but meantime the landlord is hopping mad & my mates are pissed of with having to sub me in beer'n'fags land. Of course I could ring Angard but now even the "always get an answer from the woman with the cold" aka 01604 629381 Xmas Team aren't picking up the phone. Ladies & gentlemen - if you're still working for these clowns JOIN THE F****N UNION!!!!!!!!!

Re: Payment
It looks, amazingly enough, as though I've been paid properly today (30 Dec). Furthermore, the amount paid seems about right for my last week added to my first one, for which I hadn't yet received anything. No further clues, as I haven't had my payslip for this transaction.
As a bit of background, I worked in Inverness MC for four weeks, and didn't receive any £350 vouchers because, like a few others, I wasn't "on the list". I've had pay and payslips for weeks 2 and 3, and to judge from my own records the amounts look about correct.
Jury still out on holiday pay, but for the moment I'm un lapin heureux. Has anyone else been lucky and been paid correctly?
