I would think it should be angardpayroll.queries@reedglobal.com . I have sent to this today and got an automated response confirming receipt of my e-mail and saying effectively I am in the queue and they are processing the e-mails in date order.Motherwell18 wrote:I tried emailing all the addresses on here, but they kept being returned as the address didn't exist.
I phoned up to see what was happening and they told me to use anguardpayroll.queries@reedglobal.com
That was returned too.
I dunno what to do.

Re: Holiday Pay?
Well, I completed the form and submitted it, based on my own calculations.
I have received a very pleasant response from a lass telling me that I actually am entitled to more holiday pay than I calculated, because, according to her records, I worked more hours than my own records say
She is processing it as I type (!) and I should receive it tomorrow
- we'll just have to wait and see!

Re: Holiday Pay?
Help
I got a copy of the holiday form, but am really confused by it, where it goes Saturday - Friday do i put in how many hours i worked on Friday nights which will be 7.5 or do i add up all the Friday's i worked and put 22.5. Plus the week-ending date part of it would i put the 23rd as was my last shift.

Re: Holiday Pay?
If you are just claiming holiday pay and know how much you can claim (your payslip should tell you how much you have accumulated, but - it is 4.53 hours holiday entitlement for every 37.5 hours worked), work out the total you think you are entitled to and then just spread that figure over a 'working week' (I claimed 19 hours by putting down 7.5 hours on Monday and Tuesday and 5 hours on Wednesday. As it is too late for this week, put a week ending of next Friday (6th January) and then just send it by email to Angard.Holiday@reedglobal.com

Re: Holiday Pay?
I think you choose the week you want to be paid for holiday. Then put in how many holiday hours you want to be paid on the particular days of the week. If you only have 15 hours holiday pay due I would think you put 7.5 in one day and 7.5 in another day (or 3 days at 5 hours) - dont think it really matters which unless you are staying on and have worked one of the days. You cannot claim holidays on any day you actually work.stueyg666 wrote:Help

Re: Holiday Pay?
From the email I just received:

edit: so I just start a new week and split the hours over that?
I dont know the best way to split 27.96, lol.
edit 2: would it be really sneaky to put the majority of the hours on a sunday in the hope of getting a higher rate?
I'm kinda confused by what they askHello,
I have been told you get 2.34 days holiday a month so I'm not sure how that
works out in hours worked but you actually have 27.96 hours holiday accrued
on my system. I need you to fill in days that you want to claim holiday on
as I need it to be processed on days you haven't worked and for you to
input the amount of hours you want to claim per day. Please do this and
then resend the form back to me.

Re: Holiday Pay?
Where did this cut-off date actually come from. There is nothing in any contract nor the Induction handbook and I have nothing in any paperwork I have recevied. Looks like they have changed some goalposts - guess they realised that not many casuals get time off in December which means with this new rule (cut off date) they believe they will be able to keep our holiday pay entitlement.ERINGS wrote:Angard will NOT automatically pay you your holiday pay, you MUST claim it.
For a complete month of work you should accrue 2.34 days of holiday pay.
Top right corner of your payslip, assuming you have one, has a figure Holiday Pay Accrued or something like that.
The figure quoted is the number of hours you have accrued.
For a weeks work you should accrue just over half a days holiday pay.
It's payable at your hourly rate.
I was told the following in an email from Angard :-
Holiday claims will need to be put through to us and emailed to:
angard.holiday@reedglobal.com and there we will process a holiday claim.
Please not if your request is not with us by 31st december requesting all outstanding holiday to be paid to you it will be lost.
So make sure you claim ASAP.

Re: Holiday Pay?
how do you work it out for filling out the form as I have 21.88 hours holiday accrued.
Fergus
Cheers
Hello,
you currently have 21.88 hours holiday accrued. To claim for these
holiday
hours you need to fill in a holiday claim form, which i have attached,
for
each working week you wish to claim for.
Thank you
Stephanie

Re: Holiday Pay?
I would suggest that, assuming you worked a shift each day of 7.5 hours, then you ask for 7.5 hours on each of Monday and Tuesday and 6.88 on Wednesday and date it for next week to make sure you get it next week (I am assuming that you have finished working as you cannot claim holiday pay for a day you are actually working). Then attach the form to an email sent in the morning to Angard.Holiday@reedglobal.comfergmaun wrote:how do you work it out for filling out the form as I have 21.88 hours holiday accrued.

Re: Holiday Pay?
If this was true, it would be outrageous. Fair play to everyone on here being pro-active in chasing their entitlement - considering how shambolic things have been with Angard, it's better to be safe than sorry. To be honest though, I would be astounded if you really did have to go through all this nonsense to receive what you're entitled to - especially this 31st of December cut-off which they have not advertised. I suspect holiday pay will be paid automatically, and these deadlines mentioned will be from some wires being crossed, possibly with regards to ongoing contracts, and not our 3 or 4 week ones.
The link in the previous page to the CAB guide lays it out in black and white anyway - an employer simply can't keep holiday entitlement from you. I've worked for plenty of companies, and upon leaving, it's pretty much standard practice to pay you for accrued, unused holiday. Think about it, hardly anyone will be aware of these steps you supposedly have to take. 700 views on here, most of which will be multiples, and the odd inquisitive person from 18,000. The vast majority of xmas casuals will be none the wiser, why would they be if nothings been said about it? And a single week window is hardly just and fair for claiming anything related to entitlements through employment.
If this was legit, it would be deception. Based on the above mentioned link it would also be illegal, and RM/Angard would be absolutely hammered if they tried to pull such a stunt to save money. You'd be lucky if 10% of employees would end going through these channels.
