Re: Leavers
I left on the 16th (last friday) and I haven't been paid today or heard anything from Angard or Royal Mail.
Angard still owes me (est.) £380, but I don't really have a clue when i'm gonna get that....

Re: Leavers
I did not exactly leave but I am in a similar boat - I worked four shifts before they told me I had not been security checked and was turned away at Exeter. I am owed those wages and although it is not much compared to others, I still want what I am entitled too.
I spoke to one of Angard's payroll team last Friday and she said it would be sorted this week - of course that has not happened! Can't get hold of them now and my main device of using my MP to apply pressure is redundant over parliamentary hols. I emailed Moya Greene as well but only out of sheer desperation - not sure what difference that would actually make.
Bright ideas would be appreciated by people who have left but successfully chased up unpaid wages...as usual the Angard payroll phone numbers seem a lottery as to whether you get through to anyone.

Was paid correctly today for last week, (I think).

Re: Leavers
I asked cos I left in early December with proper notice etc and have heard nothing from them since nor been paid, I've not been able to get through on the phone and they've ignored my eamils and letters. I have submitted an ET1 today after not having been paid for 3 weeks. I reckon they owe me close to £500 including the tax they shouldn't have taken off me.

Re: Leavers
After 3 weeks at the PB outhouse, yesterday was my last shift. I told the manager I wouldn't be in tomorrow he took my name and thanked me for my hard work. I figured if I didnt get paid today I could still pitch up and sort it out. As it happens I have been paid (along with my voucher last week) I think they are all square with me. Need some payslips to double check though. I didn't attend today because to be fair there was no work and I had more important things to get on with in preparation for xmas!!!

Re: Leavers
Well I went in at 6am hamptonboy and sat in the "canteen" until 8am and then got up and went home. On the way out one of the "managers" said there was no work all day. Why the hell were they leaving people sitting in the "canteen" and not telling them anything a shoddy and shameful end to a shoddy and shameful 2 months with angard!!

Re: Leavers
We were told not to come in on Friday, but they said there was a bonus for those who work on Saturday. I think the bonus would have been due anyway to those who worked their full hours but at least it ensures a good turnout for the last day.

Re: Leavers
Any idea what the Bonus for a Saturday is - I have not had a Bonus for working Saturday all year. Is it special because it is Christmas Eve. Nobody has mentikoned any Bonus here.Jobe wrote:We were told not to come in on Friday, but they said there was a bonus for those who work on Saturday. Re: Leavers
Now come on Verging, the word 'Bonus' has a different meaning in the Angard dictionary. Bonus - a word not used/does not apply to an employee working for Angard. It can be used in the old fashioned way to describe an employee who has been correctly paid. Hence, the word does not exist/apply! Unless you are manager getting this word. We are not, so the word does not apply. Yes, it is Christmas, so most of the Casuals have now finished, so that might be considered to be their bonus! No my pay is still not correct, despite having 2 payments this week from them, it is still short.

A little tip to you re the ET1, do not withdrawn it under any circumstances, until you have been actually paid all that you are owed In your bank by Royal Mail. Even if Weightmans who will no doubt deal with these claims on behalf of RM ask you to put it on hold.
My educated guess is that those who put an ET1 in will rise to the top of the list to get sorted first. (excuse the pun)
