Last day tomorrow at Birmingham

It's my last day tomorrow working for Royal Mail (I was offered a shift on NYE but I have politely declined). I've made loads of new friends and enjoyed some of the work (my manager's are great too), I will actually be quite sad to leave! It's also payday tomorrow..... but I was told earlier that I *probably* won't get paid anything until next week :sad: can see I will possibly have to seek legal advice once my contract ends tomorrow. Been totally fed up since October with how Angard have treated everyone, and I'm sick of reading Royal Mail statements in related news articles about how only a 'minority' have been affected.

*rant over*

KInd of feel the same way LoobyLou. I still hope to be working for Royal Mail come the new year, applied for a position as a postie.
The work is OK, I like the physical aspect of it and as you say, people have generally been fine and had some laughs.
I've spent most of my 3 weeks with Aftab on tracking, working with 3 asian guys, where have you been working? I'll come and say hello and goodbye tomorrow!
