What happens after 12 weeks?

Post by Rbdonc89 »

I work for Nbsc and have done for over 2 years on the agency, I got changed to Angard and have almost completed my 12 week's

My question is how do they determine your pay after the period as I have not yet had an engagement confirmation stating my Job title and pay rate.

I have called and emailed several times but no answer and my manager can not giveme an answer

So has anyone here got any ideas?

Thank you

If they follow the AWR you should get the same terms and conditions as a RM Permanent employee doing a comparable job to you. So you should get the same break times (paid for), the same pay rate, etc.

There is a clause within the AWR that could exempt you from these benefits but they have written a letter the the union saying we will get extra benefits after 12 weeks - see http://www.royalmailchat.co.uk/communit ... 47&t=41806" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.

Nobody is quite sure how being directly employed by Angard will affect the situation, whether it's a version of the Swedish Derogation, how your wages will be comparable or what rights you will have.
The Union's position is based on their take of the AWR and some vague promises from RM of "more rights" after 12 weeks.
How it will actually pan out is anybody's guess which is why your manager isn't very helpful...he just doesn't know.
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

Somebody needs to have a quick think about this as these rights start on Saturday for some people.
