I got £350 cash today as I didn't get paid yesterday. Those of us who hadn't got paid yesterday put our names on a sheet for non payment which is I guess what they went from for the cash payment as somepeople had nothing in the bank and no cash payment. I'm guessing they hadn't put their names on the list?

got my £350 today was even giving an extra 20 mins break to go and get so it turned out ok for me in the end hopefully those who didnt get theres will be sorted out on monday, really looking forward to next weeks wage slip when it says minus £66 so better save some, is that the end of angard then who do we work for now anyone know?

You do realise that they will DEDUCT £350 FROM YOUR PAY when they eventually pay you properly through the PAYE system plus payslip WHEN YOU EVENTUALLY GET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, yet another pair of disgruntled employees. Both employed as xmas temps & paid short. No address or tel number on payslip and tel no on original application not accepting calls. Also aware of team colleagues who have not been paid at all and are unable to contact anyone. Totally unprofessional and a disgrace that a reputable organisation like Royal Mail allows itself to be associated with this shambles.

TO ALL TEMP RM WORKERS. I hope you all get paid eventually and wish you all a merry xmas. I guess I am one of the lucky ones not getting started AT ALL!. Like many others I turned up for an interview at Newtownards Delivery Office, Northern Ireland, and no one from RM or Angard TURNED UP for the interview. Again it shows on their site Hired and agreed start date but I have never been contacted. I do know that Angard staff are not getting paid in NI too. I cannot believe RM conducts their business this way and those at the top in Angard are fudging it and telling those at the top of RM all is hunky dory. WAKE UP ROYAL MAIL AND LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE ON THE GROUND AND READ THE FORUMS. IT IS NOT JUST A FEW PEOPLE NOT RECEIVING THEIR WAGES AT THIS IMPORTANT TIME OF YEAR. RM GET IT SORTED!

Rang Angard who answered on the Christmas Team and told me that I should get a reply by phone or email today. Was told that that had large numbers trying to clear the many outstanding emails. It seems that this is not a one off problem having read on the forum that people have had problems in the past not only getting paid but getting replies to phone calls or emails.
Looks like Royal Mail need to get this sorted once and for all before they lose all the good casuals that they rely on to clear the mail.

I didn't get paid on 23rd December and didn;t get a voucher. I was told by Sheffield Mail Centre on Wednesday (28th) payment for previous week will go into bank on 30th December and that last week was a keying error. This has not happened, so i am now owed 2 weeks wages. I should have known something was wrong when received a text from Angard at 8.15pm on Thursday 29th with details on how to get in touch with payroll queries. I called this morming at 9.20 am and was assured someone would call me back it is now 4.50pm and nobody has e-mailed called me on landline or mobile. How can we enjoy New Year and know the wages owed, plus holiday pay are going to go through next Friday. I am going to a solicitor next week to sue for fraud and compensation, because I am now going to get bank charges due to direct debits going out of my account and Angard owing me nearly 100 hours pay. I also need my P45 to claim JSA, so no chance of getting that until ? Angard need bringing to the National Media's attention again.

I started on the 3rd of December 2011 and i have only been paid 1 and a half weeks of wages, i sent emails but im not getting any responses and also they are not picking up the telephone. i have worked a total of three weeks, monday to saturday, 7.5hours each day. My last day was the 24th December 2011.

Im still owed 1 and a half weeks of salary and theres no way to get in contact with Angard. Many people where i worked got these vouchers but i didn't

Im really stuck now, all that hard work i done and i dont get paid for it.

Any tips on how to sort it out?

Some partially successful actions include:

Ringing 0845 4607318 or 0845 4607487. Both are "overspill" numbers since there are some 15,000 casuals not being paid at all or incorrectly paid. The live person you get after 30 odd rings! is not involved with payroll but will simply forward your concerns through to the payroll. Will not give you a direct line to payroll. You have to "dictate" your message to a certain Alfie who will type it out on his computer and he will then press a "red" go button which the send your dictated message to the payroll team at some unknown address! UNBELIEVABLE!??

Emailing the directors of RM Group directly and give your concerns.

I still have not been paid and am actually owed over £600 gross pay. Totally unacceptable, despicable and morally corrupt of Angard Staffing Solutions!

Basically we have all been ripped off and have worked for less or nothing we have been promised, i'm still owed nearly £200.

Royal Mail use Lockheed Martin made software to run their systems so no wonder they have so little regard for human life.
Lets not forget that Angard are a company created by Royal Mail in order to get round standard working practices and pay rates.

Scum bag politics from the offset.

i too only got paid 1p i walked out on friday i have been trying to get hold of angard finally did saturday was told everyone is being paid by january the 11th i am contacting everyone i have direct debits with to explain the situation i have also said i want compensation from them for bank charges and stress i think everyone should do the same lets all stick together
