would like to see as many people as possible on here join and vote no to working for angard in the year 2012 after the way the majority of casuals have been treated this year its a disgrace to mankind and womankind,people need to be warned what a crock of s**t angard really are so lets make it as difficult as possible for them to recruit temps 2012 by taking a stand and saying a big NO to angard,i for 1 will certainly not be coming back next year!would love to see as many people as possible support this campaign!

Once Christmas Eve is gone, I'm not continuing anyway. I was happier being unemployed and peniless. The pay was messed up with no way to communicate and resolve the problem. Angard has my P45 and haven't even sorted my tax code, which I suspect will lead me to needing a new copy of my P45 from the Tax Office as I don't predict Angard will issue me a new one. My contract stated I would be working 8 - 2 in the Sorting Office. Instead our Ely manager didn't check our contracts or even our names and ID's, he told us we were delivering then kept dumping us with bags until it was dark and well beyond my finish time for 2 weeks (5 or 6 pm with no breaks). When telling him about this, he told me that he had informed Angard he only wanted 8 - 5 ers... 6 days a week on minimum wage? Ridiculous and I have studying to do. Thankfully the manager eased off today after I lost my rag yesterday but my experience this year has been ridiculous and I've been on the verge of walking out for two weeks in a four week job.

They are a shambles, and to be fair if they were a normal civvy staffing company they would never get any business for which to make money. I do hope RM do bring them to account over this years problems and fold Angard and do it themselves next year. Or, perhaps recruit some temps to run the xmas casual project overseen by RM HR and shift managers.
The problem is post watcher is that for every person who says they wont work for angard/RM next year there is probably a queue of people waiting for a job. Whether we like it or not, RM will always get their xmas casuals.

I think we shouldn't forget Reed Employment in this farce either equally guilty in my book with the sneeky "Oh were not Reed we're Angard bull" Angard don't really exoist its just Royal Mail and Reed (dressed up as Angard).

Sod it roll on Christmas see how much I spend (if I get paid) and see what the hangover on 1st is like. The masochist in me draws me to the prospect of more DSA cut and tip, packets and meter sorting for 2012.
