You're right. It's gone way past apologies, I think we all deserve compensation, and someone official needs to step in a shut Angard down. Unfortunately people's desperation for money keeps them working, so no matter what your colleagues are saying now, you might well find you're along come crunch time.dannyboy10 wrote:No payslip, lost bank details, treated like s**t constantly and then given £350 for a hush hush and then we will be taxed this Friday anyway,

It takes only 5 minutes to explain to your MP the situation that we have found ourselves in, but I emailed my MP on Friday 16th after receiving £60 for a weeks work, and still no response. Not even an acknowledgement.
Next tactic will be to put the email I wrote to him into the national papers by way of a letters page.

No, nowt about direct payment where I casually work (West Midlands)
Is this a hint that Angard fukced it up so much that RM bosses are preparing the ground to quietly get rid of it, to revive it under another brand?
I got my £350 voucher today, so my earlier personal anger at not being paid has morphed into a more general anger that by buying off some staff with this emergency voucher payment - which will also help Angard minimize the risk of walk-outs in the last 3 days before Xmas - RM and Angard are somehow trying make the casuals feel lucky and grateful enough to receive the 350, and therefore less likely to show solidarity with the many other casuals who haven't yet seen a penny.
Many of us will be owed more than 350 anyway.
My advice is: Cash your vouchers in quick, before Angard goes into total meltdown post-Xmas, and casuals will be denied access to their former RM places of employment and no longer be able to count on the help of friendly and helpful managers who tried their best to help them (Yes, they do exist!)
