Real contact with an Angard person

It would seem that they actually do exist and walk around on same planet as us!!! Having had no response to phone calls and e-mails for over a week of trying, I have, just this afternoon, spoken to a real person at Angard! What's more, she had actually sorted my problem. She was unable to resolve issues of incorrect information passed to her, but Hey Ho, you can't have it all in one go.

What did you have to ring them about/what number? I've been trying to get through on 01202688502 to check if they have my bank details correctly stored but no-one is answering. I'm guessing there is zip chance I'll get paid this friday......

I needed to resolve a tax coding issue to prevent me paying too much tax. I was put in contact with Payroll dept of Reed Specialist Recruitment, on an outer London number!
Switchboard number looks like it could be either 0208 274 4000, or 0208 274 4300. On a hunch, you could try getting a phone number fix on RMS Staffing Services Ltd! If i find anything more helpful, i will post.

I do not think people at the call centre work for Angard, apart from possibly temps they brought in to manage/mismanage Christmas. The majority work for REED Specialist Recruitment. I havent talked to one who has admitted to working for Angard when I asked -they all have said they work for REED.

That reminds me, Reed should get a whipping for their involvement hosting a bunch of ex-RM cowboys who now seem to have strategically disappeared. They now look like an employment agency that can't even part-run an outsourced employment agency. I don't see why Reed should be able to stand out of the line of fire when they're hosting all the email addresses that don't get answered and, to judge from earlier comments on this thread, Reed staff are ineffectively working to administer the parts that Angard are so obviously incapable of administering, while RM finally takes some responsibility for the nonsense they started.

One letter off Greedglobal, their name is mud, just like Angard, in my book.

They are no ex-RM, as far as I am aware they are current RM HR directors.

Whilst Reed are the "hosts" for the Angard stuff, I really don't think its fair to blame the situation on them.

Reed, Manpower and various other Casual Agencies have supplied Royal Mail with workers on demand and for fixed contracts for a number of years with no major problems. The only new boy on the scene is Angard and I am betting that they agreed a contract with Reed for a fixed price and certain levels of support with Angard providing the background admin. I have no idea if this is true and I may be completely wide of the mark, but the theory does seem to make sense of the fiasco.

I have spoken with one of the angard person to resolve my no pay issue. They are not actually angard staff but temps hired by reed to help manage the issues and queries. She took my details and work hours as well as how much i get paid per hour and she told me she logs it on a form that goes straight to finance team to process. I was told that i should receive a minimum of 60% of my wage by Thursday via my bank account and the other 40% will follow thereafter. I also asked if i was still getting paid next friday and she said yes, so there arent any issues with next weeks pay. :)
