How to get a day off work for free!

Post by smok3y666 »

My supervisor did this on friday so it's tried and tested. Please note: it has to have been, or is snowing for this to work. Start your journey to work and realise you've forgotten your safety boots half way there. Doh! DO NOT think about going back to get them under ANY circumstances. Arrive at work 30 mins early without your work boots and sit outside merrily drinking coffee and smoking roll ups (this is optional). Enter work place and expect someone to find you some work boots. Before you've even left the building start to tell people you may have to go home and it won't be worth coming back because of the snow. DO NOT tell the person who will be taking your place when you leave that you will/may not be back. When the manager does come back and says "you're going to have to go home" express your depest regrets that you are going to have to leave your work colleagues and make your way back home. Tell your work colleagues that although you have no idea how bad the roads are or how bad the snow is yet you won't be coming back. Leave work place, get home and ring your manager and tell them the estate where you live is really bad (even if the snow has now gone and turned into that nasty mush, it doesn't matter) and you had to park your car up somewhere and walk home. Job done. DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT OR ATTEMPT TO GO BACK TO WORK!

Or you could just go into work and stop taking the piss (although being a supervisor they won't be missed).
