Really don't know how some of you are doing 5 hour delivery spans after P&L revision, everyday of the week, feeling positively dead after another silly season day (including 3 signature cards). Oh the irony of starting earlier on a Saturday, to finish at the scheduled finish time Mon-Fri!

Loads of mail today, though not too many packets. Anyway did not get out the office until 11.00am, finished 3.30 pm, time to relax until the onslaught on Monday

Walks aren't too heavy at our ours and we're having some cracking weather. Just taking hoours to get out of the office.

Know we've got it easy compared to some. Bloke on my round works on a trolley round in a posh rural DO. His wife was telling me (we met in the street:) he had 61 sigs in one day this week! Is regularly doing 5-6 hours a day at the moment.

Very heavy again today, left a couple of loops plus all my bulks and then run over by a few minutes :nervous

Plus for the first time this year there is diversion work from the MC, even though we were told that the MC had enough people and machines to cope this year :nervous ;liar

Knackered.. out late.. bulging bags... stopped in the street by someone for "not knocking" after knocking and ringing twice... one person moaning about a doorstepped packet that got ruined in the rain (not my doing, but try convincing them that)..

all in all standard day

That was big Monday.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

All indications are it won't be.
Outhouse is full to overflowing.
We are running more MC diversions than last week.
Reports from the collections are that the boxes are overflowing.
