Should I have been payed yet?

Due to Angard's lack of communication, I'm not too sure when I'm supposed to be paid. I started last Thursday night and heard that the money should be in my account by today, is this true? I'm sorry for asking such a question where the answer is probably on this forum somewhere, but there are so many topics about payment (and rightly so!) I wouldn't know where to start.

If you started Thursday 8th you should've had 2 days' pay in the bank today.

Thank you for clearing that up. Yes I started on Thursday the 8th, and no there is no payment from Angard in my account.

if you started last thursday night (10pm - 6am shift) you should have been paid for 1 day today as the pay week is a saturday to friday 9.59pm

example
early shift ... week is saturday start 6am to friday 2pm
Late shift ... week is saturday start 2pm till friday 10pm
night shift ... week is friday start 10pm till thursday finish 6am

Me: I'd be better if I got payed
Manager: You haven't been payed?
Me: No

my manger was really heplful, she had a conference call with whoever was above her in postion, and then she personally went and got our vouchers from mount pleasant to ensure we all got paid, even the staff that walked out she set up an arrangement to meet them the next day
