11 of my shift got them, including me, around 19 didn't and they face another wageless weekend.

It's an utter farce. By next weekend i'll have 136 hours minus the 350 quid outstanding, god only knows in what form i'll recieve that. Green Shield stamps or something.

my name was supposed to be on a list for a voucher. i got exactly the same letter from a royal mail paymaster at romford. finish my shift, then they tell me "oh, sorry, we havenot got your voucher here. it hasnot come through in time", you will be paid 3pm on monday. 2 WEEKS I AM OWED. they even tried to tell me i was owed 1 weeks wages, until i showed them a list of the hours i had worked and not been paid for. its a joke. 1700 people at romford havenot been paid correctly. it cannot be right that this is being allowed to happen. next week, i will be owed 3 weeks of money if i donot get the 2 weeks of money I AM ALREADY OWED at 3pm on monday. i donot hold out much hope. but then to be told they only want me in 3 days next week, and a decision about thursday and friday will be made on tuesday. i have a feeling that the contract could be coming to an end if a manager is speaking like this. then where does that leave all the people that are owed money. this is the biggest mistake of my life i have made. i was very pleased that i had a position (ok, only a temp) working for the royal mail, but this experience has made me regret my choice

the government want people to work, but what is the point when you arenot being paid for the work you do. at least on the dole, you get your money on time and in full

I was promised on Sunday that I would recieve a voucher on Monday. I was also told that I could come in early to collect it if I wanted. I went to work Monday, but guess what; no voucher! We got a brief instead, informing us that the files had been corrupted so the vouchers couldn't be printed. They will try again today (Tuesday) but if that fails they will give us cash.

I'm not sure I want a voucher as they also said we had a particular Post Office to go to which isn't exactly convenient for me. I'm getting grief from all sides now, as my other half knows I haven't done my Christmas shopping yet. I can't until I get paid. Thank you Angard for wrecking my Christmas before it even starts. :Boo hoo!

Paid us in cash (350) but said the likely hood of getting anything else before new year was low and could not be guaranteed.
