I work in Peterborough and I have been working for 2 weeks now I was due for my first payment today but guess what, it was a no show. So I ring up and someone from Angard answers and they take my details in pigeon-English including my sort code and account number??? And she says I might be paid tomorrow using a fast payment. Then i get into work and they call the Angard staff into an office and produce this list of people who have not been paid and I'm not even on this list, so they write my name on it and say I will probably get paid Monday but there is nothing they can do over the weekend and i can't get a voucher because I'm not on the list. I've worked 40 hours now and I have not seen a penny it costs me £25 a week just to get there everyday because I am on the 6pm to 2am shift.

I started 5th Dec and was due paying today but there was nothing in the bank. I wasn't that worried as I expected most of us to be in the same position when signing on the night shift but, out of 20 people about 12 had been paid and 6 others got given a £350 voucher, It seems two of us have become charity workers.

This is my first time working for Angard and have received my first pay. I am currently working nights 2200 to 0600 and have worked a full 40 hr week with only 20mins break each night and have shockingly only been paid 115 !!!!

I will no longer go work for this company I had a terrible feeling from the start that I wasnt going to get paid properly

I am 31 yrs of age and have never worked for an insulting amount of pay in my life. I work from home repairing mobile phones and buying and selling various different electrical items on ebay but the wages I have just received in my bank tbrougb Angard has really angered me. I will be taking this up with Citizens Advice Bureau if it is not sorted out but one this is for sure I am not going to work for them again and will not recommend.

At my mail centre alot of people seem to have not been paid, however our managers have actually been trying to help.. they ended up with a list of people from angard who hadn't been paid and we were inform that we will receive this barcode thing in the post tomorrow(today.. night shift has made me lose track of days). They also took our contact number and will ring us if we receive it and if not they said they would pay us from the Mail Centre.. one good thing at least!.. our managers have been trying to help on this maybe because they have had problems with them either..resulting in more than half the casuals not being angard!

As a thought.. Maybe as angard know who they haven't paid they have sent this letter with the barcode to them.. not sure if it just because our centre contacted them.. just hope it gets sorted..though having little faith

Am i the only person that has been paid correctly since starting? .. and receiving payslips? maybe I'm just one of the lucky ones! .. but ive not had an issue, and my Angard representatives are always available to help if and when i need them .. even visiting site to ensure that the staff are ok!?

What day do you get your payslips?

Well my son has just done two weeks work and you guessed no money. So sorry for those with families and with Christmas just round the corner its not good.

I got paid £148 bank transfer on wednesday. no sign of the rest yet, they don't answer the phone and don't answer emails.

Got a £350 voucher though, so eh

Didn't get paid along with most others on our shift all set to withdraw labour from Monday, We were given one of those £350 vouchers to cash at the post office.
Took it in to the post office where the barcode was scanned and shock horror........ It worked and i finally got some money, don't know what will happen about future payments though.

Hi everyone,

We have had a similar experience to everyone else on this forum. We were told we would be paid on the 16th after doing two weeks work. We weren't paid yesterday and were told that we would be today (Saturday 17th dec.) via postal order. This didn't happen either. The performance of this agency (an IN-HOUSE staffing agency) has been atrocious at every turn. Not only with the pay but also with contacting people and letting them know whether or not they would be employed, not to mention the ludicrous amount of paperwork which this 'employer' saw fit to palm off upon interviewees

Some of our group in Carlisle made the choice to walk out and refuse to work until we were paid. I urge everybody else who is in the same position to do what we have done. REFUSE TO WORK UNTIL YOU ARE PAID! I understand that people need the money, I do too. However, if we do this together we will be able to make a point to the Royal Mail and to the illusive Angard which will be impossible to ignore. It's not just about the money, it's also about respect, even though we are temporary workers, we still deserve that!!!

Problem is, on our shift there are now only two of us who haven't been paid, either by voucher or bank transfer, so refusing to work won't have any impact, it won't make any point at all to Angard in our case. Peoples militancy goes the moment they get some money. I expect our erstwhile brothers will regard us a troublemakers.

Normally on the friday morning .. but got this weeks this morning

cos for nights you only get paid the monday to thursday due to the payroll cut of time. the friday will be including in next weeks along with anything you do over the weekend.
