It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

i would like to know do angard need people answer there telephone after trying to get hold of them since 8.30am i've given up i guess they will answer my email sometime in the new year if they know how to,
yes ive not been paid either after it being outed in the national press on monday you would have thought they would have sorted it out, they say its only a small minority that have not been paid maybe they should re-word it that it is in fact a small minority that have been paid.
this is really poor and im shocked that royal mail allow this beacuse at the end of the day its giving royal mail a bad name well at the moment i wont be having such a happy christmas maybe a good new year they might have got someone who knows how to do payroll by then.
talk about slave labour!!!!!!!!!!!

After many hours my mum managed to get through to angard who re-took all my banking details and was told she would try to put me on fast track pay of which i would get 60% of the 19.5 hours owed to me if not i will have to wait untill the 23rd of december great really seeing as its my first ever paid job ive only just turned 17 so its a good job that i do have her to fall back on she told me to put the name and number of who she spoke to at angard even though its not the payroll department my mum said she was as helpful as she could be and other than apologise could'nt give a reason as to why angard have failed so badly the only reason she could give for why i had not been paid is that my time sheets were not sent in strange that as i always fill them out i'll have to check that out in the morning (yes im going back lol) maybe this name and number maybe of some help charlie norman team leader 01604634319 remember it does take sometime for them to answer.karlyundt wrote:I too haven't been paid - started on Weds 7 December - lucky enough to have something else to fall back on, but some of the younger lads at my Delivery Office are gutted
at not being paid too, because they were counting
on doing their Xmas shopping this weekend. There'll be no time for it next week, because they'll all be doing overtime for... Angard,

Those unpaid have received vouchers at our mailing centre for £350 which we can cash in at any post office. Our managers seem to be taking it seriously.
