4 x 7.5 hours = 30 hours x whatever rate you're on, they differ depending on where you're working and your age. Minus about 29% as they seem to be taxing everyone at 20% on their total earnings. So at £6.35 it would be £6.35 x 30 = about £135 net of NI and tax some of which you should get back eventually.

about £280 so they have over paid me by about £80 (this is assuming i havent been taxed or anything :S) but someone on another forum suggest fridays are included? which would make it £40 over payment... or maybe im just missing something somewhere... *shrugs*

You also need to find out what pay rate you are on - £6.35 is the rate for daytime work.

Night time rates vary dependent upon place of work. You should be able to check your rate by going to the RM website and looking at your application. The pay rate should be there somewhere. It says the rate at my mail centre for nights is £8.11. Think others have reported slightly less and some slightly more.

Verging I agree; I just quoted £6.35 as an example. it seems that different people are being paid different rates not only at different mail centres but in the same building and doing the same work depending on which contract you are on. Now that is a disgrace.
