FInally got paid today, combination of an emergency bank payment and a bar coded letter (seemed to be a long list of people who needed them) the letter can be used at a post office to cash it so long as you have ID with you

How confident can any of you be that you will ever be paid properly?
If they haven't managed to get their act together in the past few weeks, why are they suddenly going to get it right the week before xmas?

I almost got a voucher as well, but I got a bank transfer, of less than the full amount, would love to see a pay slip, so I know what tax has and has not been paid, or what % of what I was due, I got paid.

Royal Mail are obviously desperate to keep people turning up to work next Monday, im undecided, but I have been paid something so I am leaning towards going in on Monday. I do believe an effort has been made, and next week should be better.

What exactly is meant by "bank credit" is that with or without tax?

I'm going to assume the voucher was for people who have worked for 1 month with no pay. So they've offered £350 when you should have been paid (roughly) £900 :d'oh! . Based on a 40 hour week and 4 weeks.

VOUCHERS??? WTF I want my bloody pay correct £90 quid for a weeks work and just before Christmas your having a laugh.

Admit it RM you have absolutely ruined Christmas for many of you workers. Wheres a letter to each and everyone of us to apologize?

Not working tonight in protest.

Still no reply from Angard re my OP on pay that started this thread 17 hours ago.

Moya we are waiting for a statement, you have failed, your company has failed. YOU are responsible. We don't want another one of your corporate lapdogs spouting the same tired excuses. Time for you to show leadership.

markadam1962 you get money for your voucher at a post office, its a bit desperate, but its not nothing, and may well have been for more than was owed.

Am i the only person that has been paid correctly since starting? .. and receiving payslips? maybe I'm just one of the lucky ones! .. but ive not had an issue, and my Angard representatives are always available to help if and when i need them .. even visiting site to ensure that the staff are ok!?

You're not the only person as most people on my shift seem to have been paid properly, however a significant minority have had some sort of pay problem either not getting paid at all (like myself) or not getting the correct pay.

On the positive side I am now probably technically overpaid, but the exact amount will depend on whether or not Angard have processed my P45 or not

we've had a couple of pay issues, missing days wrong pay rate .. that kinda thing, but all in all most of the guys on my shift with me, and from the whole location as far as i can tell have basically been paid correctly. give or take the odd person who's had bank details missing. Generally it sounds like the whole thing is a bit of a nightmare .. and the £350 vouchers are a peace offering .. but ive seen posts slating the staff from angard on location (I'm in scotland) but the ones we have on site have always been available and always helpful.

I've heard these £350 vouchers will get deducted from your next wage if £350 is more than what your due? anyone shed some light on that??

No surprises there then.

Arrived at work today,m and was told and promised that no the RM are dealing with the pay and as a result we would all recieve a voucher each to cash at a post offc, for the money we are owed.

Come 7.30 pm tonight as as we are off loading the last of the lorries to be sorted for onward, we are called in to a huddle and informed that yet another promise has been broken and that we aren't going to get paid. Our line manager was so upset, and give him his due he offered to take the money form his own bank and give it to anyone who needed it. He was visible upset by the whole thing. I shook the guys hand before taking off the hi vi, and picking up my belongings and leaving.

I feel absolutely gutted that I have had to do this, and very very let down.

I am no longer willing to be lied to and cheated on, and have withdrawn my labour until I'm paid. Should I find that I have been paid fully what I'm owed on Monday morning I will return. But I'm not expecting too.

As for next year, if angard are in charge forget it.
