Went in early on ot, 10 minutes later we had a powr cut.
Not much got done for the next hour and a quarter. Mail about the same as yesterday. Bit warmer today due to the wind dropping.

That was a bit more like Christmas.
Loads of people in on o/t, packets through the roof and tempers distinctly frayed.
And even a bit of snow on the ground.

Same amounts of packets (loads and loads of the feckers) but there was loads of cards today, still, I finished at my time (left the excess for someone else to deliver).

Left a quarter in the frame for someone else to do and still went close to an hour over, most definitely the worst day this Xmas, having to use trays to keep my packets in order and signatures coming out of my ears!

Light snow. Looked a bit heavy on the floor.
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

Mail-wise was terrible today, went an hour over. Packets ... weren't bad, I suppose. They weren't great either, but I managed to shove a significant number off on the spare packet duty. Seem to get away with the slightly smaller packets at this time of year. I would have to say I'm concerned about next week, I reckon we'll get battered. This week hasn't been bad, overall.

Four sacks of packets + fitting bursting with mail +new duty + driver putting my bags in the wrong boxes and somehow mixing the bundles in bags up (i can only assume they fell out when trying to squeeze them into the boxes = 5.45pm finish (3hr 15min docket !)

Hammered, heaviest day of the week. Luckily I still have training buddy, so we worked the round from both ends and met in the middle. Done by 11.30 in time to do my collections at 12. Would have been shed loads left for Monday or a very long saturday afternoon, if I was on my own.
