Re: FRIDAY 16th Pay
Another £138 received into my account by Transfer, still £120 missing somewhere for the 9 days that I'm supposed to be paid for, and that cannot be all tax/NI payment.

Re: FRIDAY 16th Pay
my daughter is a casual in edinburgh mc. last friday she got paid but the money didn't go into the bank until the afternoon.
this morning at about 5 she checked her account and had only been paid £34. she checked again at about 10 and had been paid another £169. this was paid by FPI: faster payments incoming.

Re: FRIDAY 16th Pay
well guys and gals. the saga gets very confuddled and bizzare at this stage. Zak (whoever mentioned on here that he sounds about 12 years old, I fully concur) has just told me that my outstanding pay is at the Edinburgh Mail Centre in the form of a voucher (I'm hoping it's not a Woolworths voucher although with shamgard, we can't rule it out) and that I've got to go and collect it and cash it at the post office (oh the irony). I've told him that I'm not going down there on the off chance that there's a voucher waiting for me and he's 'guaranteed' that it's there for me. I pointed out to him that I'm in Edinburgh, he's in Raines Park so his guarantee counts for nought so he's phoning them to confirm, gonna call me back and I'll be down there to collect my pay myself. I'm extremely concerned that this amount could be less than the petrol I need to put in the car to get there but he assures me it's not and it's the entire money owed. What do we think boys and girls? It's a whole new one on me so I'm less than convinced.
By the by, Charli who's daughter is in Edinburgh MC, tell her to contact Fiona Whalley who is supposedly our regional coordinator. I'll pm you with her number...

Re: FRIDAY 16th Pay
well after going to employment lawyer oh how i laughed he basically said to me that if i stayed id get my money thru small claims court if they didnt pay for full amount and if i didnt and left id get what im owed which by his estimation by the 14 days notice from court to the 14 days they have to reply to the notice would be january he then added as angard is a limited company there is every inkling that they may well "wind up " at close of christmas rush, which would lead to state paying monies owed think i got that right bearing in mind i done a night last night the last thing i wanted to be doing is chasing money that none of us should be doing he also said that an e mail to angard stating small claims court etc in a large number might work but hey its the big companies that walk over the little people regardless as the solicitor said well i think that was a waste of a morning

Re: FRIDAY 16th Pay
No pay so didn't go in this morning, no f***ing point. What number are people phoning and if you have 30 minute break in the middle of your shift, and 10 minute break at the end of your shift is the 10 minute one paid or not? By my calculations if its not paid it means I work 6.83 hours a day which I fear is too complicated a number for the retards at Angard to get their head around.

Re: FRIDAY 16th Pay
It would seem the rumours are true...I'm on the list for a voucher (part of me is thinking of it sort of a Santa's list for being a good boy this year although that's probably down to sleep deprivation) and it's due at the Edinburgh Mail Centre after 13.00. The chap on the phone said that this IS because Royal Mail have taken the pay responsibilities off of Angard who, on Tuesday or Wednesday this week, admitted that they didn't have the capacity to cope with the payment issues. There's going to be some emergency payments today by 17.00 and some people are getting vouchers which will need to be cashed at the Post Office. I guess the advice for those that haven't been paid and haven't contacted anyone about it is to phone the 0845 number or else get in touch with your Mail Centres direct. I'm absolutely knackered with it all. I feel a bit jet lagged having been up since 3 worrying about this. I just want my voucher and want to go to sleep for a bit...not out of the woods completely but feeling more confident now that RM are involved...please don't worry me further by saying they're as much use as Angard??!

Re: FRIDAY 16th Pay
Yes, I've heard about the 'list' before, well in my opinion, we should all be on the list, because we are all working for this incompetent etc etc company. We've done our bit in the contract, then they pay us! Oh that bump on the head again, remember, the one I got , when I gave my bank details to a stranger (Angard) over the phone! This is more like a lottery. We have a right to be paid! I liked the post from a colleague, Don't forget this is the panto season - Manager," you will all get paid" -everybody- "oh no we haven't!" That gets the best quote award!

Re: FRIDAY 16th Pay
From previous experience, your be fine if the RM are dealing. I had a problem last year and it was sorted within 24hours, right then, off to the Panto that is RM, and to start a walk out.graham1980 wrote:It would seem the rumours are true...I'm on the list for a voucher (part of me is thinking of it sort of a Santa's list for being a good boy this year although that's probably down to sleep deprivation) and it's due at the Edinburgh Mail Centre after 13.00.
