Yes this is true. I have tried to contact them by phone but no-one is picking up the phone and also, my emails keeps bouncing back to me which is so annoying and frustrating.

That bunch of Bastards at Angard have not paid me, 1 week before Christmas!! how they can get away with this kind of EXPLOITATION is beyond me,

Bill, I sympathise totally. I wrote to Julie Hinchliffe, a director at Reed and she kicked Payroll up the butt to pay me 60% of my gross salary for my first week. I was assured that the balance of this, less tax, plus my next salary would be paid into my bank account with no problem on Friday.

At about 5.00 pm yesterday evening (Thursday) I had an e-mail from Target Recruitment Agency thanking me for my mail of 24th November when I provided all the payroll information they needed, but ASKING ME FOR MY NATIONAL INSURANCE NUMBER FOR THE PAYROLL!!!

And no, I've not been paid just after midnight.

Bastards!

IF I ever go into work again, it will just be to say goodbye to my fellow Casuals. Today, I shall kick ass at Angard, Reed and Target to get everything I am owned! I'll be writing to my MP urging that Angard be investigated for dubious business practices. Maybe we should all do that?

These people are incompetent, uncaring and downright moronic. How DARE they treat people like this! It is, as you say, nothing short of exploitation.

3 weeks of nights, fed promises, no, lies, not a penny. I'm thinking of going up to Northampton armed and holding a big Angardista hostage. I've nothing more to lose and at least it would get some press. And I'd get food for free in prison.

She didn't e-mail me gherself, but within 3 hours a man called "Matt" from salaries mailed me and made the 60% paymnent (which seems to be the standard "fob off". It's worth a try though.

I'm e-mailing James Reed the Chairman of Reed Recruitment now, to see if he can sort his underlings out to get the payments made. I'll cc it to the Royal Mail CEO too.

I have just written to James Reed, CEO of Reed Recruitment aboiut this and cc'd the mail to Moya Greene, CEO of Royal Mail.

I've not just highlighted my case; I have said that this affects thousands of other Angard workers and needs addressing!

i was payed about right this friday but that means that i probably wont be payed next friday! my boyfriend got a call yesterday morning and they said that he cant work any more because he has a criminal record but before when they did record check it all was fine and he got a confirmation letter and start day. he worked for royal mail 3 Christmas seasons and never had any problems before. he has not been payed yet. He phoned them and they said that money will be in about 4ish today. (not sore about that) number he rang is 01604629381 ! we both did night shifts as they said they pay 8.20 per hour now they say its 6.54 !!!! wtf i would never do night shifts for that!!!! what else can i say! good luck guys hope you get your rights!

A couple of nights ago we were told that RM were going to pay us themselves because Angard had cocked up so badly. Last night we got an RM letter confirming this, stating that the vast majority of us would be paid by 9am Friday, some people by 5pm Friday, and a small number by £350 barcode vouchers.

Guess what? I haven't been paid. Not going in for my night shift today unless the money miraculously appears within the next hour.

I started work on 5th December, so that's nearly two weeks of night shifts without a penny to show for it. What do they think we are living on right now? This is full time work, so it's not like we have some other job. Luckily my previous employers are still paying me for unused holiday so I can afford the petrol to drive to work.

We all got barcodes on Friday. Every single angard worker at Aberdeen.

At the Sheffield Royal Mail my son was to start on the 28th of November,after a trip to be interviewed at Bramall Lane (for over 3 hours waiting around) all details given, passport photcopied,national ins no etc. On Tues 23rd he was aked to come in and do his shift as they were needing staff early. He went in after insuring the car etc and was told they had not got his details and he could not work. Round trip of 38 miles and time and money wasted !!( he had also turned another job down on the strength of this. BIG MISTAKE)
The 28th came and he checked via phone and still couldn't work. On the 2nd of Dec after another phone call from him he was told he could work on the 5th for 3 weeks Whooppee!!!. Had some pay on the 16th after 2 weeks, with no wage slip. I really do not know how some people are living in this country with this carry on.
Workers are not respected anymore and treated like ****. Then they wonder why there is no morale - no respect for management - no trust

Bank details were lost and had to be taken again by the royal mail

At the interview they said a 2-10 shift which turned out to be a 3 - 10 shift with half an hour deducted for a break at 5.30pm

Also, like many others, no way of getting through on the phone to Angard and no response to e-mails

Well after 2 weeks of getting paid the Christmas rate of 6.35 but not necessarily the correct hours I have now been paid the none Chrsitmas rate 6.08 and still not necessarily the correct hours. Guess them correcting things or trying to get it all correct has now screwed up those that were almost correct.
