I used this email address yesterday and later in the day actually got a response from someone called Laura, it was a tax query and not related to missing payments. When you email that address an auto email is returned, with some basic instructions about tax etc.

they wud reply to that as it is total different, no1 wants to be at the end of this problem of not being paid, RM have ruined xmas for alot of people and its going to get worse, 70% of my shift are not going in tonight! and im one of them unless i get paid, so no mail or parcels sorted or delivered so RM will ruin alot more peoples xmas

I know a lot of people are coming to this site BECAUSE they havn't been paid (me included), but has anyone been (or know of someone) who has bee paid in full?

The update from Madeleine is...no update. Zack is still in his meeting (probably by the lockers taking the mickey out of Screech for those that remember Saved by the Bell) and she'll call me as soon as she hears from him. She doesn't know the number for payroll...I'm convinced the 01202 number that was knocked about last week has been closed because of the volume of calls, can't confirm my tax code (concerned that they'll try and bill me for emergency tax despite my having given them my P45 - which they duly 'did not receive' and completing a P46 over the phone when I could get through on the 01202 number), can't confirm how many hours I should be paid for (as I pointed out, I know how many hours in total I worked for shamgard but for all they know I could have been doing 60 hour weeks) and basically can't confirm anything at all. I'm now going to phone my regional contact here in Scotland and see if she's any the wiser. I'm not holding my breath.

hope you get somewhere, i phoned same time as u, promised a call back but no time as he did not want to promise a time if he cudnt, i raging and not going back, either is most of my shift

No pay here either, yet I was paid for the 1 day I worked on the 2nd. What kind of shower of sh1t company are they? After the absolute debacle of the application/notification process we get to start work but now not paid.
I've had a couple of emails off journalists (Guardian and Independent on Sunday) asking about Angard which up till now I've ignored. They will now be receiving a reply.

I got 57.87 today, while i still have arrears from last week, so seems nothing this week and a dribble to cover last week. While i appreciate i'm better off than someone who hasn't been paid at all, like a couple of folk (most have had token payments of some amount, like myself, but are owed more than they've been given ).

Gotten really busy the last few days, should have payed us if you want that work shifted.

totally agree with you, i not had a penny, no money to get there tonight, nearly no gas/electric, rent due on tues, bills not being paid so getting charges, i not going no more, work getting very busy in the centers and i hope they DONT cope with out me and a few others from my place

I suspect Royal Mail managers will say ANYTHING to make sure the mail is clerared, then come the 23rd you're off site and they dont have to bother about your wages.

We've been getting told for 2 weeks now, it'll be in on monday, no it actually takes 48 hours, wait till friday see whats happening, it'll defo be in by monday, it takes 48 hours... wait till friday, been told "royal mail staff are now being sent to sort this"

If they can just keep this cycle going for one more week then the mail is out and they dont have to see our "moaning" faces again, and they get praise for getting the mail out, even if they did have to feed lines of shyte to do so.
