After three and a half weeks without pay and numerous phone calls and unanswered e mails later I was finally paid some money by Angard. This was obviously an arbitrary amount and I was shown an e mail sent to managers which stated that anyone who had not been paid was to be given 60% of their entitlement to ensure that Angard did not overpay (joke) casuals and have to reclaim this later. I still have not received a payslip so I am unable to work out what the payment covers in terms of hours, tax or NI. I do not have any confidence that Angard will pay me properly this week despite being told that I am on their system. If they can't mange a strightforward payment I doubt that they can manage a complicated calculation to address their poor performance in the first place.
