I would be sending parcels and letters all over the country if they had failed to pay me. We do our part (Temporary staff) get treated like dirt and then often not paid. It is like something you hear about of in third world sweatshops.
Well, one in five letters is going to the wrong side of the country tonight !!!

Don't take it out on the customers, which could be your friends and family, even you if others have that attitude.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I'm in the same boat as you working for Angard, so I know just how poor the treatment can be and how it can be tempting to make things difficult for RM, but it's not the customer's fault, and it shouldn't affect their Christmas.

I agree, its angard and the Royal Mail management who need to suffer, not individual customers who are probably oblivious to what is going on, although I tell everyone I meet, from the bloke in the chipshop to the dustman who empties my bins!

to be honest with the Royal Mail facing privatisation, this is not the time to be creating ill will amongst member's of the public, im generally against that kind of thing, but I certainly have no reason to support Royal Mail anymore.
As for the main topic of this thread, giving the crap interview, and the fact Angard seem to hire just about anymore, im sure some people have created more hassle for more experienced staff, than have been helpful. Too many examples of people stealing post, or just people who don't want to work that hard.
