Paid 90.00 for a weeks work

Post by acmilano »

I have worked out that I should be getting about 184.00 for the week only to find delayed payment of 90.00 which quite frankly is disgusting. I have contacted shift manager emailed payment about 20 times contacted the angarrd shift managers line and nothing no answer. I finished yesterday and now Im unsure what to do. I know its like 100.00 pounds for the first week but its alot of money to me.

apparently Angard counts a week as Thursday to Thursday. So might throw your maths off abit, pay for friday would be on next weeks pay.
Also, did you give your p45 to anyone? they never asked for it but without it you get 20% emergancy tax ( even if you did give it in, lets face it what are the chances they actually processed it?) plus national insurance

Think that's bad, I'm 16 and doing exactly the same as everyone else, I've been wrongly taxed and only received £51.98 for 20 hours of work :(

I got £57 for 45 hours, but i take your point about doing the same job and being discriminated against with regards to pay purely based on your age. I agree you are doing the same job so should get the same pay.

I'm with Manpower and have done:

2-10pm Fri
10-6am Sat
Mon, Tues, Wednesday, Thursday - 2-10pm

Today I got paid £90 Trying to get access to my payslips online but Manpower have messed up my employee number (or date of birth) so can't access it! I'm over 21 years of age, and was also told I shouldn't pay too much tax as I ticked Box B on my P46

/Sorted, was 2 days pay, and they had indeed messed up my date of birth.

Good luck to all of you trying to get paid!
