How to contact Angard

Hi.I am a student who is studying in college. No tax for students. How to contact angard to talk about student free tax.

I am working with this also and am now thinking about not turning up tomorrow.
This all sounds like a farce and why would RM try to hide behind angard unless something fishy is happening.
I am logging and taking this to my local MP.

I started yesterday and there was no problem I did a full 6 hour shift. Got in this morning to be told I now don't have a job and I have to leave the premises straight away this was at 7:30. So I worked a full day so I should be paid for it as well as the £47 for the bus pass I got to get to work. I've tried calling but NO ONE IS PICKING UP THE PHONE.
Because I have not been background checked I now do not have a job!

Have you tried 02746234780 ?? I used it twice on Tuseday and both calls were answered straight away and by a human !!!
Give it a go and best of luck !

Seems that number is gone now "The number you have called is not recognised".. This company are a bunch of fraudsters!!!

Unbelievable ! Your right it has been disconnected. They did seem surprised that I knew the number. A dreadful and disgraceful company.
I have not been paid either. I am going in to work tomorrow and will again try and seek answers and more importantly my pay. I am not holding out much hope.

Contact the West Sussex Reed office on 01903 229191. They instantly pick up calls, and ask for either Ashley and a Heather who are handling the Angard contract. I talked to one of them, and they were very nice to talk to and very helpful, and knew what they were doing. :)

Is this a wind up?! I called this number and they said Ashley and Heather don't deal with the Angard contract...

You've probably all seen these numbers, i can't be arsed to trawl 11 pages for confirmation of that, but if someone finds it useful then job done.


Payroll queries: 01202 688 502 (Personally, i've never had an answer on this line - 'very busy' allegedly)

Direct no: 01604 608 291 (I've got through twice on this no)

Angard are an absolute joke.

I have worked as a Christmas Casual the previous three years and never had anything like this.

They sent me a text telling me they had sent me an e mail inviting me to an interview but there was no e mail. Tried to contact them but no reply. Rang Royal Mail and when I eventually spoke to someone they said they didnt have a number for Angard! I eventually got an e mail on the actual morning of the interviews!

I was lucky - we were sat in a room as though there was going to be some sort of presentation, then 55 minutes after the interviews should have started we were told to go to another room where our documents were checked etc. Some others were waiting over three hours!

No problems with my documents, got my start time and date. Turned up on the date only to be told (on the Monday) the job wasn't now starting til the Thursday. No attempt to text or e mail me.

Then pay day comes last Friday and no pay, and still no pay by today. They showed us a print out of an e mail from Angard last Saturday saying something like 8% hadn't been paid - its more like 80% where I work. It said anyone not paid on Friday would get a phone call Saturday and be paid Monday. I haven't heard a thing. A colleague got a call SUNDAY asking for his bank details, but he still hasnt been paid either!! He has been refusing to work overtime in protest. I felt like doing that but wasn't going to lose out financially. I am though going to stay off Friday if I haven't been paid by then.

Has anyone been paid by this bunch of Cowboys yet? I start on the 28th of November and despite twice being told it would be sort, have re4cieved nothing. I worked out yesterday. By the way Manpower are recruiting for Royal Mail!

I am working as a Christmas Casual for Angard and in the office where I work there were a load of the night shift workers that simply walked out because after being paid a week late, they only made 147 pounds for their week of work, which was only 5 pounds more than what the other shifts made. Our mail centre managers have given us a number for a "direct" line to Angard, which is the 0845 number that doesn't work. They have lost numerous bank details of Christmas casuals, and no one, not even Royal Mail managers can get a hold of them. I wish I would have read all these posts before I started, because I don't think I would have showed up! I think everyone needs to get together and make a massive law suit claim against Angard. I have read so many newspaper articles about people not being paid, being told the wrong places/times/dates, and just basically getting royally screwed over. If everyone went after them at once, then Angard won't be able to avoid us, and will be shut down.

After checking this site out yesterday, I rang John Duncan (RM HR Director & Angard Director spoke to his PA, within the hour I got a call from the Royal Mail "Christmas Team", I was told they are taking over my payment and would investigate the problems at the York sorting office. I would suggest everyone rings Mr Duncan.
