people not getting paid!

It's just not right Stuart!No managers at the Boro mail center doing anything about it? Are we the only 2 staff not paid or is there more?

Theres got to be over 100 at Tyneside MC and the outhouse not paid and that's a conservative count.


I've got a 25 mile commute every day so if i'm not paid friday i'll not be in saturday or thereafter as i can't afford the runnig costs. Quite a few others are in the same boat as well.

How about try to get a count per depots of who didn't get paid?It's the only way to have "real" numbers and send that info to Royal Mail, Angard and press?

I can do a count per shift only, and that is in the Tyneside outhouse, set up on the Team Valley to take work away from the TMC.


Bear in mind there is 3 shifts across 2 sites it's hard to do unless every shift and site has a rep on here.

If organized I think is possible, met someone from the next shift willing to count and pass the info by mobile? you could post here your numbers and all info you can gather and so can others do?It's one thing having each people posting about their own situation but it could be different if we can gather more info per shift/depot?

There was 26 of us on the backshift who were sat with management with some sort of pay issue, however, thats everyone bar 2 in it's entirety and another 20 + staff aren't yet finished their week in arrears, so come friday we will have potentially even more problems (the Manpower staff have been payed OK and payed for their break also).

The managers mentioned 33 people on the dayshift, 2 guys have been working since the 21st of november and haven't had a bean, others seem to get weird arbritrary payments into their accounts on irregular days and frequency with no pay slips to substanciate said amounts. The amount is generally considered deficient by the recipient though. Others were getting constantly phoned asking for their bank details, then follow up calls hours later asking for the same info again. I even had a phone call to my house while out working "guaranteeing" monies would be in my account at a specific time, but again these monies never appeared.

Last time i was able to contact them was friday, despite several dozen attempts each day.

Something must have changed! I got paid the balance for my first weeks shift today. I signed on by phone yesterday; I guess I should sign off again today and return to work

Lol, wishful thinking. Been told that if we are paid it'll most likely be 40% tax since they've not got our damn P45/P46's... Great.

They had over a month to sort it all out, but failed to pay us on time, and lost our tax codes.

When I went into work yesterday at 13.30 I was told that money would be in my bank account by 14.00.
At 14.10 I checked my bank account via internet banking and had indeed been paid more or less what I was expecting.
I recieved an apology from the top boss in the mail centre, 2 voice mails from Angard apologising and promising that it would never happen again. And then when I was on a break at around 20.00 I recieved a 3rd call from Angard to say sorry.

I was told by a line manager that RM had sent 60 personel staff to Angard to pull them out of the sh*t.

Emergency tax on the BR code is 20% according to many tax websites, Angard have their own tax system then!

I'm due my first pay tomorrow, fingers crossed as people who started the week before (the week i was originally supposed to start according to the provisional letter.) are still waiting, Yesterday a balance of staff guy came in to the area where the "Angered" staff were sitting and appeared quite shocked by the fact, he also assured us that he had sent off the time sheets and had copies of them. I've done xmas casual for 5 years although it wasn't perfect directly under Royal mail, It was 1000 times better than this shower.
